After the projectile curves and misses Naru, the Predator follows its path until it finds itself staring at the sights on its helmet, aimed at it. * Naru, while tracking the Predator, hunts a few rabbits for dinner. She cooks them over a fire, tears a strip of meat for Sarii, and hands it to it. The dog starts gobbling it up, then Naru says "Next time, you're cooking." Sarii pauses, tilts its head, and whines, as if pointing out that it ''can't'' cook.

* Taabe is telling Naru about his [[RiteOfPassage Kühtaamia]] while she aims at a hawk. She fakes falling asleep and Taabe quickly fires an arrow hitting the hawk. Naru says that she was waiting for the hawk to circle back before shooting it, and now Taabe has to cross the river to retrieve it.
** Later when he complains to their mother that Naru wasn't listening to his story, she says that they didn't have time for a nap. Their mother laughs pretty hard at the joke, implying that Taabe tells the story quite often.
* A Comanche hunter telling Naru about how fearsome the lion is, that she'll never be as good a hunter as him or her brother, and that they'll be the ones to kill it... right before he's grabbed by the lion and mauled.

** As the Predator pins one hunter to a tree another hunter tries to get at it with an axe, only for it to catch the axe in its wristblades, wrench it into the air and bring it down on the poor schmuck's face. Seeing what it did to his buddy, the hunter pinned to the tree threatens the Predator with a (very, very small) knife. The Predator just looks at the knife, gives the idiot a "seriously?" look, and then uses his shield to slice the poor sod's head off.
*** Made better by the {{Beat}} as the Predator stares at the spot the decapitated man was with a QuizzicalTilt then walking off with a subtle shake of the head, as if even HE'S saying "''you're'' the most advanced hunters on this rock?"
*** Considering that the shield not only decapitated the trapper, but cut through the whole damn tree, the Predator may be pausing to admire how badass that moment looked. Like he's thinking "Fuck yeah, I'M AWESOME!"

** In what just ''has'' to be BlackComedy, Raphael meets his end when the Predator (Not knowing that he's alive due to Naru's medicine cooling him down) steps on his missing leg, causing him to yell in pain followed by the Predator immediately stabbing him. Yes, the Predator was ''startled''.
