* The trailer for the Cosmic Eclipse TCG expansion. A Togepi, a Cleffa and an Igglybuff are hanging out, when suddenly [[OlympusMons Dialga, Palkia and Arceus]] show up. The babies' reaction to this is to put up their dukes, put on an angry face, and get ready to fight. Then the Legendaries just keep walking without acknowledging their presence.

* The first part of the Unbroken Bonds TCG expansion trailer has Lucario and Melmetal facing off against Marshadow and Machamp. Machamp stomps on the ground, causing the cliff below it to crumble and Machamp to fall. Cue a disappointed Marshadow sinking into its shadow and an exasperated Lucario facepalming at the sight.

* Spinda has been loved for its uniqueness and allusions to being a DrunkenMaster. Made even funnier once Pokemon X&Y introduced hordes, [[http://youtu.be/Jqx4ffYlIUA Spinda being one of the horde types.]]

* Some hold items are automatically hilarious. Take [[CoolShades Black Glasses]], which make Dark-type moves stronger, and hand them to your most serious Pokémon. ''Darkrai was given Black Glasses! Darkrai is rockin'!'' Or, conversely, give them to Magikarp, because if your one attack is useless you might as well look cool while trying.

* In ''VideoGame/PokemonXAndY'', you can find hordes of Trevenant, a spooky tree always thinking about vengeance. And sometimes, you can find hordes of Trevenant with one Sudowoodo mixed in, a Rock-type Pokémon pretending to be a tree via a PaperThinDisguise. Apparently, these serious Trevenant aren't too bright if Sudowoodo can fool them. Either that or the Trevenants are allowing that Sudowoodo to join their gang, since they are known for being nice to Pokemon within their turf.

* Anytime you make a move that knocks out the enemy Pokemon, especially in one hit, and the game tells you "[[http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Damage#Not_very_effective It's not very effective...]]"
