* After the fallout of AXIS and Sam returning to his usual self, there's a montage of people fighting against the backlash he's gotten. One of them is a black woman and a BlondeRepublicanSexKitten on a thinly veiled Creator/FoxNewsChannel parody. The black woman points out that if Steve Rogers had acted the same way everyone at the station would have rallied behind him, and brings up how the networks views the Punisher. The blond woman tries to get a word in, shouting "The Punisher is a Patriot!"

* After Iron Fist and Power Man had a run in with White Tiger in Issue #7.

* During ''ComicBook/{{AXIS}}'', Spider-Man drops in and sides with the Mighty Avengers against the Inverted Avengers by snagging Captain America's shield and making a speech worthy of Steve Rogers. A few panels and a SuperSentaiStance later, Spidey's lost the shield. Power Man questions what happened to it. "Dropped it. Rolled over there. I'm a pretty bad Captain America."
