* In ''4'', Riggs keeps hanging the picture of Murtaugh in his underwear. Murtaugh is getting more than furious.

* Even one for the bad guys as in the climax of part 1, when Joshua heads for Murtagh's home in revenge for foiling his scheme. Thankfully no one's home but he gets spooked by the TV playing ''A Christmas Carol''.

* Something of a Dark Humor moment in 2. The BigBad had earlier killed a man [[YouHaveFailedMe who had lost a shipment of gold coins]]. He'd had his office floor covered in plastic wrap, ostensibly because of a remodel, but actually to prevent forensic transfer. Later in the film, the BigBad is berating TheDragon, who had carried out the earlier execution, for a string of recent failures. Said Dragon begins looking around casually, and his boss demands to know what he's doing. The Dragon states that he's making sure he's not standing in plastic with a smarmy look on his face.

* Also in the fourth film, after the car chase ends with Riggs and Murtaugh crashing their car into a nearby truck when the last Triad gets killed in the process, Murtaugh sees a bumper sticker on the back of the truck reading, "If you can read this, you're TOO close!" Murtaugh says, "Maybe a little ''too'' close."

* The hospital scene at the end of the fourth film is just utter chaos.

* Most of the time that the "1, 2, 3, then go" issue comes up, which becomes a joint CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming and [[CrowningMomentOfAwesome Awesome]] the last time it occurs during the fourth movie.

* The "rubber" tree that the other officers leave on Murtagh's desk after his daughter's big break... in a commercial for condoms. Even Roger ends up laughing over it after a while.

* Both the opening of the third movie, and the little bit after the ending credits. Especially the latter, where Riggs and Murtagh show up ''just'' before the bomb goes off - and they take off like a bat outta hell.

** And then, when Riggs says it was "Sgt. Cole" he had slept with, Roger says "Sgt. Cole in traffic?!" Adding to the humor, [[IThoughtItMeant the drunken Roger thought Riggs was referring not to Lorna, but to]] ''[[HoYay Lorna's uncle]]!''

* In the first film, after the jumper scene, Murtaugh yells for Riggs to come with him to an abandoned storefront. Murtaugh goes to slam the door shut, only for the door to slam past the threshold, making for a FunnyBackgroundEvent.

* When Murtaugh pulls his gun on Riggs for interrupting his DrowningMySorrows moment, Riggs goes and pulls a Daffy Duck by ''[[CrazyAwesome sticking his finger in the barrel of the gun]]'' and taking Roger's bottle away. It gets better, as Roger then says "Get your finger out of my bottle and give me that gun!"

* "My mom says cops shoot black people!" Riggs busted up laughing, and it looked to me like Mel Gibson was ''genuinely'' laughing, too.
