* "MEMORIES" has the Tachikomas discussing on how to prove that Purin was not a Posthuman. They do the discussion on a road, which led to a massive traffic jam since they're idling in the intersection.

* John Smith is funny from a meta perspective. He's an {{Expy}} of Agent Smith from ''Film/TheMatrix'', the prime example of {{Cyberpunk}} of it's day. ''The Matrix'' was created by Creator/TheWachowskis in part because they wanted to make a live action version of ''Anime/GhostInTheShell1995'', the prime example of {{Cyberpunk}} of it's day.

* In "PIE IN THE SKY", Batou is at a bank when there's an attempted robbery. He easily beats the robbers, then discovers that they're all old men who got swindled out of their life savings by the crooked bank manager, so he helps them steal the bank manager's money and frames the bank manager for the robbery. The whole episode is pretty funny but what really sells it is when he walks out of the bank with his hands up and gives a very [[CasualDangerDialog relaxed]] report to the police that he's a hostage and the robbers have a bomb, it really sells things.
