What makes it hilarious is that the devs [[TemptingFate ask if King Knight]] will actually follow him back out, whereupon King Knight [[DynamicEntry lunges in from offscreen and poses]] as if he heard them like the AttentionWhore he is, making the whole couch burst out laughing.

** Also the Lagoon run is pretty fun, while the game itself isn't too funny, it's technical enough to be entertaining while the runner and couch lambaste all the poor choices the writers made with the story. PJ running it is also helpful.

This is to describe cycles and how to speedrun the no amiibo category optimally by collecting as many Cat Shines as possible before Giga Bowser (the "bus") appears. He soon replaces the bus with Paper Mario driving a fancy convertible to describe the amiibo category since the player can bypass the wait for Giga Bowser entirely and summon him instantly.

After introducing the game, getting the crowd hyped, and pointing out that there's [[UnwinnableByMistake no guarantee that they'll be able to finish the game due to bugs]], they count down, start the race, and [=DragonDarch=] immediately cracks and laughs about how much he hates the game.

** Grumpmeister's run of the Game Gear version of ''[[VideoGame/TazManiaSega Taz-Mania]]'' begins with the game in a seemingly normal demo mode... until Grumpmeister reveals he had the console's volume turned down and turns it back up to showcase the game's [[BrownNote ear-bleedingly awful]] but [[SoBadItsGood hilariously catchy]] soundtrack in full. Said soundtrack quickly became the run's main appeal and Grumpmeister, before starting, issues a "Taz-Mania Challenge" to encourage the audience to endure the music and resist the urge to mute the stream.

Her Golbat in particular was excessively difficult to beat, with a blazing fast speed stat that was further enhanced with Speed Boost every turn and Ground-type coverage.
