* In a special 2020 crossover with ''LightNovel/{{Baccano}}'', Celty goes to New York to do courier jobs for Nebula. She very quickly gets lost when Shingen sends her only [[ComplexityAddiction cryptic messages]] in the place of actual directions for no explainable reason.

* In Episode 11, [[spoiler:[[LightNovel/{{Baccano}} Isaac and Miria]] are apparently members of the Dollars]]. This being [[spoiler:Isaac and Miria]], even a minor cameo manages to be amusing.

* The final Shizuo vs Izaya battle can be somewhat comedic (for a little while). While fighting, they occasionally move somewhat slowly with their arms and legs flailing, made all the more hilarious by the NoodlePeople limbs.

* While it's a pretty badass scene overall when Celty is finally reunited with her head, while she's passing by Izaya, he tries speaking with her only for the dullahan to not recognize him. It's pretty funny in hindsight given that Celty had not, in fact, lost her memories and knew very well who Izaya was, plus the fact that she actually got away with it despite being a poor liar.

* In the final season, Saburo, Walker, Namie, Mika, Shingen, Emilia, Seiji and Egor all decide to crash at Shinra and Celty's apartment for a variety of reasons. Celty does not enjoy the complexity of the situation, especially with Shinra unable to help her out much due to his injuries.
** Celty has absolutely no idea who Egor is and just gets confused as to why the hell he's there. She also does not know Saburo's name.
** Namie is particularly difficult to deal with and keeps insulting Celty before revealing Izaya has her head and starts claiming he's dating it. Seiji also learns that, as a kid, he was always wearing Namie's old pajamas and not boy ones like he thought.
** Celty is extremely exhausted after having to make room assignments for everyone, and has issues with Mika and Namie who both want to sleep with Seiji but don't want the other to, so Celty comes up with a compromise by having them sleep together without Seiji, who has to sleep with Shingen and Emilia. He discovers, much to his horror, that Shingen sleeps with his mask on.
** It's proposed the people staying in the apartment form a guild rather than a gang. Walker apparently thinks guilds automatically involve swords and dragons.

* Whenever Erika has a YaoiFangirl moment. She has shown a particular liking for a [[FoeYay Shizuo/Izaya]] pairing as shown when Shizuo says he's going to Izaya's place (to murder him...) and she sparkles with blush stickers saying that he must love him. Everyone (Celty and Kadota's group) cuts her off with a BigNo.

* In Chapter 10 of the manga, there's a comedic page featuring Harima and her six phases of stalking. * In ''MiniDura'', Izaya obtains the copyright for the Black Rider and makes a profit producing and selling massive amounts of merchandise which cover the city. Shinra and Celty are none too pleased, but when they confront him about it, Izaya explains that if they sue they'll get in trouble with immigration since Celty is an illegal alien. Shinra then ends up being bought off when Izaya offers him a special Celty body pillow. It also later turns out Izaya somehow managed to copyright Shizuo as well.

** Celty's inability to remember Saburo's name. Also, Anri admitted in an episode of the previous season that she, too, forgets "the driver guy's" name.

* In the x2 Ketsu OVA, a fat man named Shizuo Nobusuma tries to get an easy life by impersonating Shizuo Heiwajima. He goes around trying to squeeze loot from others and, although everyone knows he's a fake, they play along and give into his demands out of pity, knowing that the real Shizuo will beat him to a bloody pulp when he finds out. Then after getting pummeled by Vorona and duped by Izaya, Nobusuma eventually runs into the ''real'' Shizuo and gets punched into the sky for kicking Kasuka's car. Days later, Nobusuma decides to impersonate Kyohei Kadota and his first targets are Walker and Erika. He is easily defeated by the real Kadota and [[LaserGuidedKarma tortured by Walker and Erika]]. ** When Celty criticizes Namie for her amorality, Namie reminds Celty that Shinra had a part in [[spoiler:hiding her head]], to which Celty says Shinra has been on the receiving end of her fury. "Please, I'm sure you just smacked him once, then messed around in the most disgusting way. Just like a beast." Celty shoots a cloud of shadow out of her neck like a volcano and immediately types, "HOW DID YOU KNOW!?" Shinra, with BlushStickers, says "That's so rude, calling her a beast! [[AggressiveSubmissive At night, Celty's actually like a little bunny]]--" at which point Celty shuts him up by gagging him with shadows, ready to die with embarrassment that their sex life is being discussed in front of everyone they know. And Shingen, still being held in mid air by her coils, says "[[DirtyOldMan Just what did you and my son do at night? Please elaborate!]]"

* Walker learns about Saika and immediately starts fangasming over the potential of becoming superhuman, but the moment he learns that the cost of it would be having to love humans (in other words, 3D people). He turns it down, loving 2D too much.
