* When she's assigned as Padme's protection detail for a mission to Mandalore, Jan insists Padme procures a second holdout pistol so she could give up the first, as she had heard what is implied to be Han Solo advise his wife. Padme states: “You travel in very low-class circles”, not knowing she's talking of ''her own future son-in-law and her own daughter''.

* Jan and Ventress finding out just how much of a trouble seeker Padme is... And Padme mistaking Ventress for a ''Jedi''.
** How Padme finds out that Ventress isn't a Jedi: she's with Jan and Ventress in her apartment on Mandalore, looking over evidence about the smuggling ring, and Obi-Wan arrives and immediately asks:

* During his trials, Kyle reacts to facing three lightsaber sparring droids by shooting one, with the droid not reacting because it failed to recognize his blaster as a weapon. Both [[ElegantWeaponForAMoreCivilizedAge Obi-Wan]] and [[MasterSwordsman Battlemaster Cin Drallig]] react ''very'' negatively to that stunt... But Kazdan Paratus, the one who had built and programmed the droids specifically to be more dangerous than normal sparring droids, just decided he had a point and built his next one to not only recognize blasters as weapons but included a sniper blaster and a [[MoreDakka repeating blaster]] in the design.

* When the Jedi are about to be trained for the more modern combat, a Jedi Master objects to them being requested to wear armor, and asks why they should when the Force would protect them. [[TalkToTheFist Cin Drallig just has him shot with a stun blast]].
** The fact ''[[MasterSwordsman Cin Drallig]]'' did such a stunt, even commandeering a Clone Sniper just to shoot the first fool he ''knew'' would ask that.

* Kyle's reactions in his first encounter with Tarkin, after suppressing the urge to just murder him on the spot:
** During the encounter, in the middle of a Jedi Council meeting, Kyle gets the impression that Tarkin approves of his attitude-and [[YourApprovalFillsMeWithShame wonders how long should be the lava bath to feel himself clean again]].
*** Indeed, Tarkin ''does'' approve of his pragmatic attitude. This isn't lost to Anakin, who starts thinking how to get them to meet without the Jedi Council because they would ''obviously'' get along.
** Shortly after, Tarkin explains he's there to get a Jedi volunteer for his raiding force so he'll be able to learn the military trade, because “To put it simply I feel that it is a mistake to let you continue with your failings as an Order, and the sooner you can productively aid the Republic as a whole, the better. Therefore, we must begin your training immediately”, and Kyle's mental reaction is priceless:
--->Kyle was unsurprised that Tarkin of all people would have the gumption to come into the Jedi Temple, and deliver that sort of insult to their faces. The rest of the Council, not so much. He saw it in the way they reacted, even he hadn't dared go that far.\\
Oh, sithspit, he cursed to himself. He was starting to approve of Tarkin.\\
That lava bath was looking really good.
