* In some versions of the legend, it has to be ''blessed'' silver or ''inherited'' silver in order to kill a werewolf. In Film/AnAmericanWerewolfInLondon, David thinks a werewolf can only be killed by someone who loves them. Ted takes a silver ''cross'' he ''inherited'' from his mother, and tells Eric he'll kill him because he ''loves'' him. He hits all three points!

Added DiffLines:

* Eric sensed Skorzeny before he was even in sight of the ''Busted Gull''. Ted said he'd been looking for the werewolf who bit him for months, having possibly been a werewolf as long as a year (based on Eric referring to enjoying the last few days of sun, and Ted saying "last summer's when it happened"), but he apparently never found him. Which means that Ted never went back to the fishing boat he'd been working on when he was attacked, never even went near it once while Skorzeny was aboard, during his search. Was he too traumatized to go back? Or did he subconsciously not ''want'' to find his attacker, out of fear or out of already starting to ''like'' being a werewolf?
** Or perhaps Eric is a better werewolf than Ted, by nature or chance or whatever, and was better able to sense Skorzeny than Ted was?
* Ted asked Eric to tie him up and sit with him until midnight. Eric dozes off, and when he wakes it's 12:20am, and Ted is just starting to change. But what would have happened if Eric ''hadn't'' dozed off, if he'd been awake as the clock struck midnight? Would he have started untying Ted right away? Would Ted have been free, and Eric much farther from the gun, when the change started?

** Rogan also uses silver from a cross, blessed in a ceremony on the reservation. It could have been inherited. No love lost between him and Eric, though.
*** Maybe that's why he hasn't succeeded yet?
