* In every loop, even the one they escape from, Crusher breaks the glass even when she tries to move it to a safe spot. But there is one sure-fire way she could have saved it: by putting it back in the replicator. In the same way, the ''Enterprise'' crew could most likely have broken away from the loop before encountering the NegativeSpaceWedgie had they chosen to backtrack. They didn't, because for all they knew that would have become a SelfFulfillingProphecy, but by declining to do so they continually encountered the crisis.

* The *Bozeman*. It seemingly vanished without a trace during a routine deployment in 2278, meaning none of the crew's families ever learned what truly happened. And now that it's back, that same crew are going to have to deal with the fact that almost everyone they knew or loved is long dead.

* In the first poker game depicted in the episode, Dr. Crusher calls Riker's bluff. When Riker asks how she knew he'd been bluffing, she says that he had a tell with his left eyebrow. However, she's only kidding. So how ''did'' she know? Perhaps she just "had a feeling," thanks to having already been through the time loop a few times, but not enough for her déjà vu to have registered yet. Since it's the ''Enterprise'''s twelfth trip through the loop, it's probable that during the "original" poker game, Crusher never called Riker's bluff.

Since we never see the entirety of the Enterprise's first trip through the loop, it's possible that during the "original" poker game, Crusher never called Riker's bluff.
