* In RealLife, combat medics and embedded reporters don't fight (though recently combat medics have been armed to defend themselves and their patients), yet "Doc" Lacroix and Higgins are armed and fight, with Doc even being the usual pilot of the [[MiniMecha Duck]]. There's two reasons for this:
** InUniverse, it's because the Bugs don't respect the concept of non-combatants, so it only makes sense that the medic and the embedded reporter fight too.
