* Princess Peach: Showtime! shares the exact same acronyms as its predecessor only in reverse (''[=SPP=]'' to ''[=PPS=]''), that and combined with the numerous [[MythologyGag mythology gags]] the game has to ''Super'', ''Showtime'' shows that while it isn't a ''direct'' sequel as many had hoped after 18 years, it still tries to pay a little nod and respect to its Leading Lady's first time in the spotlight.

* Fans quickly noticed Peach having a deeper voice in some of the trailers, especially in her Swordfighter costume, but still sounding like her usual self as Patisserie Peach or when not wearing a costume. As it turns out, she's playing a character in each play, and great actors are known to be able to change their voice to suit the role they're playing. She even affects an American Southern accent into her voice clips as Cowgirl Peach.
