** Also, the King and Queen's backstory is ''made'' of AdultFear. They have no idea if their daughter is even still alive, and one side effect of the crown is that they have enemies (some UtopiaJustifiesTheMeans fanatics and some just plain [[GreenEyedMonster coveting the throne]]) who (for all anypony knew until the end) [[WouldHurtAChild could have ruthlessly used her as a pawn and/or killed her outright]].

* At the end of "Slumber Party", it turns out that Patch's ghost story was RealAfterAll, as she is visited by Squire's ghost. The problem is, his ghost is the same age he was in the story, it isn't a ghost of an old pony or even an adult. Which means that Squire actually never grew up to be an adult and instead died (or worse was ''killed'') at young age...

* Seeing how Squire's ghost shows up at the end of "Slumber Party", it means there really was such pony and his story wasn't just another ghost story. But if the story was real, then Basil was real as well, which pretty much means that dragons exist in the ''Tales'' universe, and ponies in this incarnation are [[{{Main/Muggles}} completely unprepared for dealing with any fantasy beings]]...

** It's possible that the ponies, not being humans, have a method of determining precisely how old a child is and thus working out their birthday/date; it just never came up because A) it wasn't relevant and B) Patch and her friends, being children, either don't know about it or don't understand it.

Might as well fix some typos while I'm here.

* How could Patch sharing her birthday with a long lost royal daughter mean she was actually her, considering that, if her date of birth was known in the first place, she surely couldn't be found as a lost baby with no knowledge of her biologigal parents?
* If Patch's ghost story turned out to be true, how could Squire's castle be anywhere near where they lived ("Just beyond the Paradise Lake"), seeing how the MLPT universe seems to be very closely based on the real world and Ponyland is clearly located in suburban United States (they even celebrate Halloween and Christmas!) whereas Squire was clearly from medieval Europe? (knights, castles, heraldy etc.)

Not what Begging The Question means

* In "Princess Problems", we see a long line of young ponies waiting to see if they weren't the long lost child of a royal couple. This begs the question, however, why does Ponyland have so many orphans in the first place?

* Casting Patch [[CrosscastRole in the role of the prince]] in the school play makes a lot of sense when you remember from "The Impractical Joker" how good she is at impersonating male voice.

* How old is Chain Link anyway? Seeing how he's a lead singer of a popular band he would have to be at least a teenager, although if he's any of the ponies seen at the end of "And The Winner Is..." it's more likely he's actually an adult. And yet he has no problem agreeing to go on a date with the winner of a contest that ten year olds can enter apparently...

* More like Fridge {{Squick}}: At the end of "Sister of the Bride", the girls manage to save the wedding just in time, and Bon Bon is even able to completely fix the cake that Clover ruined. Sounds like everything turned out fine, right? Except Clover ''fell into this cake''. And it was later served to the wedding guests. Just think about it for a second...

[[AC:Fridge Brilliance]]
* Teddy is shown to have a fear of water in "Blue Ribbon Blues" and only the girls are shown swimming in "Happy Birthday, Sweetheart!". These make sense considering stallions have a lower body fat percentage than mares, making them more apt to sink in water and therefore more likely to drown.
