* Why can Dr. Gardevoir speak English yet still have her Psychic abilities? In the Pokémon anime, Meowth learned to speak instead of learning attacks; he starts learning real attacks very far into the anime. But Psychic Pokémon are (usually) described as being much smarter than most Pokémon or, sometimes, smarter than humans. Would make sense that Psychic-types can learn human languages more easily, or be able to learn human languages while keeping all their attacks and abilities.
