* Yukari's alibi in Episode 16 to get Julio to expose his identity involves her creating a story about an older sister who garnered the family's attention while at the same time leaving Yukari behind without any recognition. This successfully garners Julio's attention, but, more notably, it also draws his apparent sympathy as his eyes noticeably become softer in comparison to previous episodes. Why? Well, if you replace [[spoiler: Yukari with Julio]] and [[spoiler: Yukari's older sister with Kirarin]], you basically get a summarized version of [[spoiler: Julio's StartOfDarkness and reasons as to why he despises sweets.]] Suddenly, Julio's VillainousBreakdown after Cure Macaron exposes him hurts a lot more as not only was his identity exposed, [[spoiler: he was deliberately lied to by Macaron with a story that personally hit very close to home.]] Ever met someone who told you a sob story that was similar to your own past experiences to get you to sympathize with them only for them to tell you that it was a lie later? That's essentially what's going on here.

* Cure Whip doesn't seem to be named after a dessert like the others. Although... Her dessert is the shortcake. And one of its ingredients is the '''whip'''ped cream.

* Bibury being such a BigEater. She was taken in by Noir from 100 years in the past and has likely been in his service ever since. Given that there doesn't seem to be any evidence of food in Noir's world (outside of lots of dark kirakiraru) and the fact that she still seems to have aged since then, the girl must be ''starving'' now that she's back in the real world. The sweets she gets from Ciel and the other Cures are likely the first scraps of real food she's had in a long time.

** However, her main color is turquoise and she's counted as a Green cure in Tsunagaru Puzzlun and for marketing purposes.

Replaced the line implying Julio to be a girl with one about Ichika still having a crush on Akira

** Not helping matters is the fact that Rio/Julio is voiced by Creator/JunkoMinagawa, a seiyu whose forte is [[CrossdressingVoice voicing young]] [[{{Bishounen}} bishōnens]]. Ichika really doesn't have the best of luck, does she?

Later it's revealed Ichika really doesn't have the best of luck, does she?is actually still in love with Akira (such as in episode 36 where she overheats and faints just from Akira touching her), so maybe she just [[HoYay swings that way]].

* Rather than being associated with a specific color, Cure Parfait is associated with [[EverythingsBetterWithRainbows rainbows]] as seen with her multicolored outfit and attack name. What is a parfait? A dessert consisting of differing layers of fruits and cream stacked on top of each other. How is a rainbow usually depicted? Seven layers of differing colors that are lined up next to each other.

* So Ichika and the gang sees Rio walk Risa home? Then they find Risa unconscious with Julio being the culprit and Rio missing? Can't that be a little bit suspicious?

** They're just GenreBlind, apparently. Then again, this isn't the first time where something like this has happened in the franchise.
