* Michael's first target upon awaking from his coma(and killing the poor hermit who looked after him) was no other than [[TheDeterminator Rachel]], taking her by surprise before she's really aware that he's back, and why? Because he knew that Rachel, a very savvy and resourceful FinalGirl would give him a hard time like she did during his last attempt on Jamie's life, and thus he needed to get her out of the way before he went after Jamie and Tina.

* When Loomis first appears after Tina and Max's introduction at the children's hospital, the dog notably barks at him in a manner eerily similar to most canine encounters with ''Michael'', particularly in the first two entries. A sign, perhaps, of Loomis' darker, more obsessive approach to matters in this film, close to becoming that which he's hunted for so long?

* How the hell did Michael hide Rachel's body and himself so well that Tina was completely unaware that there was anything wrong when she stopped by? Plus, how the hell did he get Rachel's, Max's, and Mikey's bodies to the Myers' house without anyone seeing him? Presumably, he used Mikey's car, but the odds of no one seeing him are slim.
** Michael is a master of stealth, hiding a body let alone himself isn't particularly difficult for him to do nor is it a first time for him. Plus, Tina didn't search the entire house so Michael most likely just hid Rachel's body in a room Tina just didn't go into. As for getting the dead bodies of Rachel and Max over to the Myers house, Michael most likely waited until the right time to do it unnoticed, he's smart like that.
** I just assumed the man in black moved all the victims to the Myers' house. The bigger issue is that the police, who was swarming the building and most definitely would have searched every inch of the place while setting up their trap, didn't seem to care about the corpses, the ritualistic candles or a child-sized coffin.
