* The way all the Counsellors are based strongly on Horror Movie stereotypes, especially 70s and 80s ones - even their stats encourage this kind of play. It might be considered racist for the black guy to be the UnskilledButStrong Jock, so kudos to the devs for having the balls to go through with what was such a stereotype at the time.

* An example of GettingCrapPastTheRadar, in the Single Player Challenge, it's pretty clear A.J. has problems with her lovers. Mitch is apparently unable to fully, uh, please her. Kenny's sexy times with her is ridiculously short. A.J. seems quite fine with Adam but, well, ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice happens. Chad, ironically, turns out to be the most caring boyfriend she has as well as "capable." [[ToiletHumor He farts in the bed, though.]]

* [[spoiler: If Jason is a ChildByRape and Elias isn't really his father, that would mean that he and his half-sister Diana were never really related.]]

* Why is Grip Strength one of Part 8 Jason's weaknesses? Look at how slimy he is.

* An example of GettingCrapPastTheRadar, in the Single Player Challenge, it's pretty clear A.J. has problems with her lovers. Mitch is apparently unable to fully, uh, please her. * Buggsy in the 5th Challenge ("Packanack Party") routinely stands up from his wheelchair whenever he's alone and away from the other Counselors. His story about how he was crippled changes if you reload the game from a trampoline accident to surfing. Given the way Deborah expresses her interest in him, it's entirely possible he's playing up a minor injury as a much more serious one to get her into bed.

* We see Jason has already disabled the phone lines in Camp Crystal Lake so the fact both cars are broken down makes sense. Jason has always been CrazyPrepared but he's made sure the counselors can't get away first.

** Indeed, while Jason has been {{Retcon}} to always have been supernatural by that movie, this ties it in much earlier and explains why Jason was previously MadeOfIron as well as able to survive in the woods for decades.

** Despite not being the real Jason, the movie version of Roy Burns was still MadeOfIron and took an incredible amount of damage before finally going down. Given the Camp Counsellors can only stab him with pocket knives and hit him with bats, it makes sense that he's still able to kill them all. How he stops a car when it slams into him, mind you, is just GameplayAndStorySegregation.

* A minor point but it was always confusing whether Pinehurt Youth Development Center was nearby Crystal Lake or not in the movies. AlternateContinuity or not, it is clearly established as being here now. May also qualify as an AuthorsSavingThrow.

* Giving Jason Voorhees the ability to zoom around Crystal Lake explains a lot of how OffscreenTeleportation in the movies. Given it looks like the view of the Deadites in ''The Evil Dead'' also implies something about the source of Jason's abilities (or it's just an EasterEgg). The ''Necronomicon'' is, after all, in Pamela's house in ''Jason Goes to Hell.''
