* Kerry's awfully calm and cheerful when she confronts Malucci about him asking everyone why she uses a cane. You'd expect her to be much angrier, especially given her personality. Except. . . Kerry's been disabled since birth. Like most disabled people, she's probably had to endure ''years'' of rude comments and questions about it and has learned how to handle it gracefully.

* Because Morris' CharacterDevelopment into a competent and reliable doctor was very gradual, with him not being taken seriously InUniverse until the final two seasons, some fans believe that he didn't deserve to be told the show's ArcWords, "you set the tone", by the departing Carter in the Season 11 finale. However, it actually makes sense that Carter chose Morris as his successor -- every time a senior doctor passed on the ArcWords to a younger doctor, said younger doctor happened to be the recently-appointed Chief Resident:
** When Morgenstern, the Chief of Emergency Medicine, told Mark to set the tone in the {{Pilot}}, Mark was the Chief Resident, and remained so for the rest of Season 1.
** When Mark, having been an ER Attending since Season 2 as well as TheHero since the pilot, passed it on to Carter in "Orion in the Sky", Carter was the Chief Resident -- albeit only after Jing-Mei, the first Chief Resident of Season 8, quit her job due to Kerry's backstabbing and returned as an ER Attending a few months later.
** When Carter, having been both an ER Attending and TheHero since Season 9, as well as a main character since the pilot, passed it on to Morris in the Season 11 finale, Morris was the Chief Resident, and remained so for the rest of Season 12.
