* When Leonard makes his HeroicSacrifice, why did he make sure to grab Faerie so that she'd die with him, despite the fact their pact would cause the other to die if one does? It's so that the Faerie couldn't break the pact at the last moment and survive.
* Despite Verdelet's reputation as TheLoad and some fans believing him to be the GreaterScopeVillain of Drakengard 2, it's possible that his actions regarding Manah actually make sense. In all the ending paths, he prevents Caim from simply killing Manah and tries to exorcise the gods from her, which only goes wrong in Ending A due to them resisting Verdelet's spells. Considering that he's the only character who concludes that the FetusTerrible monsters in the Ending D path must be the Watchers, it's possible that he may've known that killing Manah would've led to far worse and was actually trying to prevent TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt.
!! Drakengard 2
* After being caught maiming Gismor, why did Nowe decide to run away rather than tell the Knights (or at least Eris) that not only did Gismor poison him, but General Oror as well? It would be his word against Gismor's, which would not go well for Nowe given his standing. He couldn't confide in Eris, either, as she has shown to be so fanatically loyal to the Knights that she threatened to kill him just for criticizing them. With that in mind, Nowe had no other option but to flee.

* Given what the seals hold back, how did they ever get in place to begin with? (AWizardDidIt Dragons did it, apparently.)

* Maybe it was for the best that Furiae couldn't be saved in the ending paths. After all, a person who would wilfully damn the world to be with someone like Caim is likely someone who is just as bad if worse than him. Additionally, considering that Drakengard is a game where every ending but the first tends to go badly and gets more difficult to unlock, surely a theoretical "Ending F" route would be an UrbanLegendOfZelda that requires you to complete several overly specific tasksComplete The Greatest Battle, complete the Tokyo Free Mission in under 5:00 minutes, fully level up all weapons, defeat Goddess Furaie with at least 50% HP under 2:50 minutes etc just for a route where Caim saves the Goddess by killing Manah, which would cause the Grotesqueires to show up early. Furiae would be PromotedToPlayable, and would be gradually revealed to be just as nasty as Caim in that the two willingly sacrifice Leonard, Arioche and Seere to the Grostesquries. Not even Angelus would be safe because Furiae would see her as someone who would get in the way of her love for Caim, ensuring that you'd have to kill Angelus after the fall of the Grostequerie Queen. After all this, you get an ending where Caim and Furiae kiss each other passionately AtopAMountainOfCorpses while the camera zooms out to showcase the ruins of the Imperial City; the ending text then states that Caim and Furiae selfishly doomed the world to live happily ever after but that their love would soon turn to mutual death.
