!!Comic Books

!!!Adaptations

* An adaptation of ''Film/DrNo'' was published in the UK in December 1962 by Classics Illustrated. It was later reprinted in the United States by Creator/DCComics as part of its ''Showcase'' anthology series in January 1963.
* Creator/MarvelComics adapted ''Film/ForYourEyesOnly'' and ''Film/{{Octopussy}}'' in the early '80s.
* Eclipse Comics (Acme Press in U.K.) released an adaptation of ''Film/LicenceToKill'' in 1989.
* Topps Comics began an adaptation of ''Film/{{Goldeneye}}'', but cancelled it before it was finished.
* ''Literature/SilverFin'' became the first ''novel'' to be adapted in 2008, followed by Dynamite Entertainment's adaptations of ''Casino Royale'' in 2018, and ''Live And Let Die'' in 2019.

!!!Original Works

* The first James Bond comic book storyline to not be adapted from a previous work was ''Permission to Die'' - a 1991 miniseries published by Acme/Eclipse, written and drawn by Mike Grell.
* Not long after the above, the rights reverted to Creator/DarkHorseComics (though Acme still held them in the UK), who published five miniseries (though only four of them were published in their entirety).
* Creator/DynamiteComics acquired the rights from the Fleming estate in 2015, and released their own series of inter-connected mini-series.
