*** Interestingly, students of chosen house may not have the same personality. For example, Snape (as shown below) is melancholic yet he was head of Slytherin. Harry himself is choleric yet chose Gryffindor, this is proof that ideals are more important here than emotions.
** Also the four Marauders: James Potter (choleric), Sirius Black (sanguine), Remus Lupin (melancholic), and Peter Pettigrew (phlegmatic).
