Luciano is TheFriendNobodyLikes within the Knights of the Round while Shin has the UndyingLoyalty of his personal knight, Jeanne Rowe. Luciano is an AxCrazy BloodKnight while Shin is implied to be a StrawNihilist OmnicidalManiac. Lastly, and perhaps best highlighting their differences, Luciano openly asks how much Shin values the most important thing in the world -- his life. The Knight of Ten is [[OhCrap visibly flat-footed]] when Shin admits [[NotAfraidToDie that he doesn't see value in his own life]].
