As per my other edit, there's no indicator in the film (I'm aware of) that Morris is meant to be Scottish: I suspect the roper who added this wasn't aware that Scotland Yard is the headquarters of the police for this ENGLISH capital, not Scotland.

* MuggingTheMonster: During the airport confrontation, Dick tries to grab a passerby as a hostage, which is a Caucasian woman in a dress. That woman turns out to be Inspector Ng’s asskicking Scottish counterpart, Inspector Carrie Morris, who quickly executes a high kick into Dick’s face and promptly beats him into a pulp.

Despite the name, "Scotland Yard" is not in Scotland: It's the headquarters of the metropolitan police, in England's capital, and so would be more likely to mean someone from there is English than Scottish. Unless there's some other indicator in the film to say otherwise, Inspector Morris probably isn't Scottish, and so the Brave Scot trope doesn't apply. If there IS some other evidence, this should probably be reworded to mention that instead.

* BraveScot: Inspector Carrie Morris is sent from Scotland Yard to assist the Hong Kong police.
