Tropes related to characters in the film are on [[Characters/UltramanZero the main characters pages]].

* Planet Spaceship: Beatstar's headquarters is built for one, a Dyson Sphere large enough to destroy a planet by simply plowing into it. It's hollow inside houses the inhabitants, with an artificial sun and moon giving a semblance of normality.

* OutOfTheInferno: The penultimate battle between Jean-Killer, Ultraman Zero and Beatstar had Beatstar and Jean-Killer firing their attacks at full blast at each other, creating a massive explosion between the two. ''Ultraman Zero Gaiden: Killer the Beatstar'' is a tokatsu series produced by Tsuburaya, part of the ''Franchise/UltraSeries'' and further chronicling the adventures of Ultraman Zero. The Ultimate Force Zero made a comeback as well after the events of Film/UltramanZeroTheRevengeOfBelial.

A year after saving the galaxy from Belial's forces, the Ultimate Force Zero returns to Planet Esmeralda for a reunion visit. Jean-Bot is the first to arrive, but he ends up being captured by a mysterious robotic force, which his friends arrive just in time to see him being taken away, before getting ambushed by a legion of MechanicalMonsters.

After fending off their respective foes, the Ultimate Force investigates further, and discovers Jean-Killer/Jean-Nine, a duplicate of the abducted Jean-Bot, and Jean-Killer's creator, the evil supercomputer Beatstar, who aims to wipe out all organic beings in the universe and replace them with mechanical copies...

!!''Ultra Galaxy Legend Gaiden: Ultraman Zero vs. Darklops Zero'' provides examples of the following tropes:

* AIIsACrapshoot: Beatstar's original programming was meant for peacekeeping purposes. Too bad the misguided computer interprets that as genocide.
* EvilCounterpart: Jean-Killer to Jean-Bot, although [[spoiler: he made a HeelFaceTurn after Beatstar's destruction, where he is subsequently freed from his programming]].
* ThatsNoMoon: Beatstar's planet base, which the Ultimate Force Zero tracks it down and saw its surface populated by an entire robotic army.
