* HopeSpot:
** Adam and Roy manage to briefly surprise and overpower Otis, but fail to keep the upper hand before Otis kills them.
** Gloria manages to pull a gun on Baby... Only to learn that it's unloaded. It gives Wendy enough time to flee, only for her to get caught by Spaulding. She survives until the morning and runs for help after the maid discovers her, but she's so understandably freaked out after the events that she can only manage to run into the road and get flattened by a semi truck.

* KarmaHoudini: [[spoiler:The Unholy Two succeed in helping Sheriff Wydell capture Otis, Baby, and Spaulding, but even killed one of Charlie Altamont's prostitutes in the process, and they disappear afterwards. However, this finally changed for Rondo in ''3 From Hell'', while the fate of Billy Ray Snapper (who didn't appear nor was mentioned in ''3 From Hell'') was left unknown]].

Added DiffLines:

* WhyDontYouJustShootHim: [[spoiler:Inverted as a "heroic" variant. Wydell has the opportunity to easily kill all the Rejects, but instead tortures and monologues as a form of revenge and vigilante justice, even setting Baby free in order to chase her -- a fatal mistake, and all three end up escaping.]]

* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: There's no mention of Grandpa Hugo or Dr. Satan from the first film; Rob Zombie decided not to recast the former out of respect for Dennis Fimple, who died shortly after shooting his role in ''House of 1000 Corpses'', while the latter was shot, but cut out of the film as he felt it would’ve been out of place for the type of film he was making, comparing it to putting [[Franchise/StarWars Chewbacca]] in ''Film/TheWildBunch''.
