''Robot Holocaust'' was a 1986 post-apocalyptic yarn by director Tim Kincaid, who was mainly a director of Gay porn films. It involves a world in the far-future after [[RobotWar "The Great Robot Rebellion of '33"]], in which most of humanity & human civilization are wiped out. All that's left is a city called "New Terra" (played here by a fully functional New York City), which is ruled by the [[TheGhost mysterious]] [[TheBigBad Dark One]]. The remaining humans become his "Air Slaves" & are forced to fuel the power station that keeps the Dark One alive & in charge. The Dark One has the power to clean the poisoned air & uses this as a means to control the "Air Slaves".

The film itself is horribly done with cheap, cheesy sets, no-name actors, horrible acting, poorly-written plot & script and bad special effects. It was the first modern, color film to be shown on the television cult classic comedy, ''Series/MysteryScienceTheater3000'' (barring the KTMA episodes) in one of the more memorable episodes of the First Season. For the said episode see [[Recap/MysteryScienceTheater3000S01E10RobotHolocaust here]].

!!Plot
The film opens with [[TheThunderdome two huge beefy guys fighting to the death]], surrounded by Air Slave spectators who [[DullSurprise appear bored.]] Enter our hero, Neo...no, not ''that'' [[TheMatrix Neo]]...[[NamesTheSame another guy]]. Neo meets an annoying [[StarWars C3PO]] ripoff named Klyton who informs Neo via telepathy that the wrestling death match is to weed out the biggest & strongest so there will be no rebellion (winner of said match is taken to the Power Station to receive his reward....death).

Present are a scientist named Dorn & his daughter, Deeja, who have devised a gizmo that allows a person to breathe the toxic air, thus freeing the Air Slaves from the Dark One's Power. After an attempted insurrection, Dorn is apprehended by a big mean robot henchman of The Dark One named Torque, who resembles a humanoid crayfish or a bigger, meaner cousin of [[{{Futurama}} Dr. Zoidberg]]. Neo, Deeja, Klyton & two brothers named Bray & Haim then go off to attempt to rescue Jorn & destroy The Dark One.

On the way, they meet a tribe of Amazons in "The Wastelands" of a perfectly clean & manicured Central Park. Here, Haim fights an Amazon named Nyla in the usual "Amazon bested by a warrior guy" routine. In the process, they rescue a big mute hunk named Kai and Nyla & Kai join in the adventure.

During all this, Jorn goes through a torture-interrogation administered by The Dark One's chief minion, Valaria...an attractive blond lady who speaks like a Franco-Germanic Elmer Fudd whose more wooden than a lumber yard.

What follows is tunnel of sock-puppet worms, some cheesy mutants, upside-down crucifixions before the world's worst matte painting, a Junior High School basement, lame-o traps with stupid names & a large fake spider leg.

Meanwhile, as all the above-mentioned silliness goes on, two guys back home at the Airslave's place, named Roan & Korla, come up with a plan to pretend to fuel the power station to weaken The Dark One & help our merry travelers.

In a nutshell, it all ends with them failing to rescue Jorn, (who's become 'One with the Dark One' & is now an avocado) but succeeding in killing the Dark One & ending his reign.
