* TakeThat: During the lead-in to an ad-break, the narrator ponders if the orphans will have to settle for the car from ''Series/TheMunsters'' (which is somewhat ironic, as the Munster Koach and the Batmobile were made by the same guy, George Barris).

Thirty-five years after the show's end, Creator/AdamWest and Creator/BurtWard ([[AdamWesting each playing a hyperbolized version of themselves]]) reunite at a gala where the Batmobile is part of a charity exhibit. But surprise, surprise, the lights go out and the Batmobile is stolen! Now it's up to the former dynamic duo to recover the Batmobile and figure out who from their past is holding a decades old grudge.

The movie cuts between this plot line with flashbacks showing the behind-the-scenes chronology of the Batman show as Adam and Burt piece together who's behind the theft.
