Your Cheating Heart is no longer a trope

* YourCheatingHeart: Midway it's revealed Tim has an intimate moment with the neighbor, however it seems to imply that he did so in a very venerable and broken state due to how stressed and exhausted he is from Molly's deteriorating mental state.

''Lovely Molly'' is a 2012 psychological horror film directed by Creator/EduardoSanchez and starring Creator/GretchenLodge, Creator/JohnnyLewis, Creator/AlexandraHolden, Creator/LaurenLakis, and Creator/KenArnold. Newlyweds Molly and Tim have moved into her family home after the wedding. Tim, a truck driver, is often away from home, and while he's away, Molly starts experiencing what seems to be a haunting linked to her deceased father. Tim and Hannah, Molly's sister, are convinced that the issues are tied to Molly's history of heroin abuse and psychological problems.

----
!!This film contains the following tropes:
* AbusiveParents: Molly's father was abusing her sexually.
* BatterUp: Near the beginning of the film, Tim grabs a baseball bat to search for a possible intruder. Near the end of the film, [[spoiler:Molly uses it to disable him before killing him]].
* DemonicPossession: It's ambiguous as to whether Molly is possessed or just crazy.
* FanDisservice: Molly often shows up naked during her spells, including fully nude front and back shots, but the context is always disturbing, often involving dirt and blood.
* HauntedHouse: The troubles begin after Tim and Molly move into the house where her parents died.
* InUniverseCamera: Molly films large parts of the movie as part of her obsession with proving that indeed her father's ghost is haunting her. And sometimes, the same camera layout shows something stalking the characters...
** Slightly distracting, the recording indicator and the timestamp are set in a square at the center of the film, not at the extreme corners as might be expected.
* MaybeMagicMaybeMundane: It's never clear whether Molly is actually seeing her father's ghost, or if she's having experiencing some psychological break from reality.
* {{Mockumentary}}: While the film itself plays the theme straight, it was advertised with a series of vignettes purporting to be a mini-series about the film and the legend behind it complete with an overly dramatic narrator, stock footage, awkward interviews, and repurposed trailer footage.
* RecoveredAddict: Molly is revealed to have been addicted to heroin at one point, with her family and pastor being concerned that she might be relapsing and they sometimes imply that her actions are the result of drug use.
* RemovedFromThePicture: A bizarre case has Molly cutting all of the horse's heads from the photographs in her father's study and pasting them onto her father's head in the family album.
