Kick-Ass doesn't use firearms [[spoiler:until he gets {{gatling g|ood}}uns mounted on a {{jetpack}}]], but mostly because he can't acquire any (though he does show notable squeamishness seeing Hit Girl's brutality, so he probably fits this trope until the end when he gets [[spoiler:the jetpack]]).

** Also zig-zagged in that, at first, Frank was really trying not to get Chris dragged into the Mafia business.

Although she has her father's extensive arsenal at her disposal, her weapons of choice are pistols like the SIG Sauer P232 and H&K USP Compact that fit her small hands. Realistically, any larger firearm would be very difficult for someone of her size to operate well.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Kick-Ass's first fight. Just because you put on a costume doesn't make you invincible in a fight as he found out the hard way, especially when you have absolutely no prior training.

* TooDumbToLive: Becoming Kick-Ass certainly seems like this to begin with. Getting stabbed and hit by a car? Pretty much the most realistic outcome of becoming a vigilante with no training, experience, or proper equipment.
