** Heisei Ending (winner): [[spoiler:As Ichigo performs a Rider Kick at Gaim, Gaim spots a flower growing on the beach and tanks the attack. When Ichigo sees why Gaim did so, he realizes that happiness and kindness CAN be a strength and stands down.]]
** Showa Ending: [[spoiler:Gaim comes to the conclusion that their fight is utterly pointless and stands down.]]

* PowerCopying: Well, since Decade has been confirmed, this will be likely. Then there's Kamen Rider Fifteen, who uses a Heisei Rider Lockseed to copy the Wizard and Fourze Arms from ''Film/KamenRiderXKamenRiderGaimAndWizardTheFatefulSengokuMovieBattle'' and two new Arms representing Gaim and Decade; his Decade Arms also allows him to copy the first nine Heisei Riders' powers as he briefly demonstrates by pulling out Hibiki's weapons.

** Also, it becomes clear that lack of special effects doesn't mean lack of strength, and now that they ''do'' have the effects to make it look like what modern fans are used to seeing, you'll find watching the old Riders use the same powers they always had don't even ''look'' weak. Of course, we've seen such before (''All Riders vs. Dai Shocker'''s Rider tournament and the Seven Legendary Riders vs. Foundation X's cloned monsters in ''Movie Wars Megamax.'') ''All'' transformations, Stronger's electric powers, and X-Rider's [[SigilSpam energy X-es that were once just the letter on a black background]] ''really'' lend themselves to the BigBudgetBeefUp treatment.
* RearrangeTheSong: A remixed version of ''Dragon Road'' from ''Film/KamenRiderZX'' is the ending theme in the Heisei ending.

** The nature of Badan changes as well: [[spoiler:In ''Birth of the 10th!'' they were merely another evil organization, while ''Spirits'' had them as aliens. In this movie they're depicted as an ArmyOfTheDead who wants to break into the land of the living so they can enact their vengeance against the Kamen Riders.]]
* ShutUpKirk: An odd variation. When Hongo tears into the surviving Heisei because [[spoiler:their attachments to the dead allowed Badan to revive]], Kouta, Tsukasa and Takumi fire back that their idea of casting aside their happiness is meaningless.
* SlidingScaleOfIdealismVersusCynicism: The main conflict between the Showa and the Heisei - the Showa believe that, to protect humanity's future, happiness and attachments towards the fallen must be cast aside. The Heisei run with those feelings as it gives them the strength to keep moving forward.

** Although she's a different Mari, the Auto Vajin's main directive is still protect Mari.

* InsistentTerminology: Despite technically being made in the Heisei Era, Shin, ZO and J are clearly labeled as Showa riders.
* KidsVersusAdults: Considering the ages of the Riders and their actors, it can basically fall into this trope. This is because Shotaro Ishinomori had direct involvement in their creation.

** Gets even worse when you include the fact that they appear near the end of the movie!

* PowerCreepPowerSeep: One of the biggest fears about the movie is that the Heisei Riders, with their multiple forms and {{Super Mode}}s, would make their fight with the Showa Riders a CurbStompBattle. While some fights are easily one-sided (Kabuto takes out Stronger with just a Rider Kick and Fourze uses Rocket States to defeat Skyrider), the Showa are no slouches as X easily defeats Faiz and Riderman easily grapple-hooks and slams OOO out of a Tatoba Kick.

** It's also very MythologyGag-laden: his ''first'' transformation is the first transformation effect in the old series (which ironically was actually ''Hayato Ichimonji's''; the early episodes where Hongo was sole Rider did not have one.) with new effects. His ''second'' transformation is based on the later one. Also, before the effect finishes, the armor as it is forming is his ''original'' look (which underwent a few tweaks over the course of the original series and V3 before it settled on its familiar design.) Then a final burst of light turns the green gloves and boots white, the dark green helmet a lighter sea green, and brings the white stripes on the arms and legs.

* GenericDoomsdayVillain: Kamen Rider Fifteen has major shades of this. Though expanded universe materials give him more characterization.

* MythologyGag: Kamen Rider Joker (Shoutaro's solo form from ''[[Series/KamenRiderDouble Double]]'') was heavily based on Series/KamenRiderBlack, and Renn Kiriyama (Shoutaro's actor) is a huge fan of Black. Joker's first fight in the movie is against both ''Black'' and ''Black RX''. In the final battle, he even gets to [[spoiler:both defeat and be defeated by Black when he and Joker perform their [[Main/FinishingMove Rider Kick]] on each other at the same time.]]

* {{Retcon}}: [[spoiler:In ''Series/KamenRiderFaiz'', Kusaka died by having his neck snapped with no one noticing. In the movie, it's changed so that Kusaka dies in Takumi's arms, setting off his HeroicBSOD.]]

Super Sentai''''' is the third installment of the ''Super Hero Taisen'' movie franchise, following ''Film/KamenRiderXSuperSentaiSuperHeroTaisen'' and ''Film/KamenRiderXSuperSentaiXSpaceSheriffSuperHeroTaisenZ''. It is the first of these movies heavily leaning towards the Kamen Riders over Super Sentai, rather than focusing on them entirely.
