Not only that, his daughter Sam has finished high school and plans to move to the west coast to start school for pre-med. Frank is reluctant to let Sam go, and he talks her into a jam session and they record a song "Hearts Beat Loud". Unbeknownst to Sam, Frank takes the song and uploads it to Spotify where the song becomes a viral hit. Frank wants to start a band with Sam, but Sam's goals are elsewhere and Frank has to come to terms about embracing change and letting go.
