So Broom Man, Ti Man and Ah Sing go to the past and gets help from a 20 years old high school student named Tai Hung (who's quite possibly based on [[Manga/{{Doraemon}} Nobita]] with the ThisLoserIsYou treatment dialled UpToEleven) and pose as students and teachers in the school where Yu Ti Hung used to enroll, in hopes to find him and protect him. Things get wacky when they encounter the bad guys, as well as [[spoiler:[[TheReveal finding out that Tai Hung is actually Yu Ti Hung]]]]

* OrificeInvasion: While Tai Hung's sister is given Chun Li's powers in a painless manner, he himself gets the same powers ''shoved up his nose.'' It's the size of an orange too...

* BeeAfraid: Tai Hung nearly jumped from the second floor only to find his girlfriend passing by. He stops in the middle of falling, standing on the balcony... then a random bee decided to be a dick and stung him and made him fell

** Lung -> Ryu (both of them can be taken to mean dragon)

** Ti Man -> Vega/Balrog with a BadassLongcoat and a different mask.

* KnightOfCerebus: First three quarters of the movie, it's pure slapstick with some actions. Then when the General arrives into the present, the show takes a slightly darker turns, there are humors here and there, but the General takes himself very seriously and his threat was genuinely high.

* ActorAllusion: Ti Man eating snake liver is a reference to the 80s TV series Legend of The Condor Heroes, where Andy Lau gained recognition as a star by playing the main character Yang Guo, and did just that in the series. There's also Broomhead [[ThatRemindsMeOfASong suddenly singing in school]]. His actor Jackie Cheung was a well-known Cantopop singer at the time.

* ShoutOut: Arguably, the entire movie is a blatant shout out/ripoff of Japan's 80s-90s video game/anime industry. We've got ''VideoGame/StreetFighter'' and ''Franchise/DragonBall'' {{Exp|y}}ies, one scene where some people went into a [[Franchise/SuperMarioBros Mario]] level, etc.

* InNameOnly: Inverted, as the characters ''look'' the same as in ''VideoGame/StreetFighter'' but have different names. Though some of the character names are what they would be if they were translated to cantonese or mandarin.

* PunBasedTitle: The Mandarin title can be translated as [[StreetFighter "Super School Fighter"]].

* {{Jerkass}}: Kei-On spends a lot of his time to just being a bully to Tai Hung for no reason, and eventually fancies himself as the General's buddy, first by gleefully revealing the existence of [[spoiler:Yu Ti Hung (Tai Hung)]] to the General, and then joins in wreaking havoc to the whole school on the General's reign of terror, even at cost of his bullying buddies. Notably, once the whole thing is over, he's not seen congratulating Tai Hung for the rescue, though that was because he was last seen taken to the toilet to be flushed off-screen because [[EvenEvilHasStandards the General has had enough]] of [[RewardedAsTheTraitorDeserves his bootlicking and selling out his supposed friends.]]
