* DoesNotLikeMen: Hillary despises men, although she is still a fan of [[Music/GunsNRoses Axl Rose]]. Her reasoning is that men like Rose "know they're shit" but own up to it.

* DrivenToSuicide: [[spoiler:When Bonnie finds out that Hillary is being moved to another prison, she goes up to the roof of the building and stands on the ledge, extending her arms out and resting her head on her shoulder to mimic Jesus on the cross. The actual fall is not shown, the film cuts to the inside of the building as a crash is heard offscreen, so it's not clear if Bonnie intentionally jumped or just lost her footing. * AmbiguouslyGay: Bonnie and Hillary are ''very'' close to one another. The police find them cuddling in bed when they go to arrest them, and they speak of one another as one would a significant other. The notion that the girls are in love with one another is brought up several times, and Hillary is asked at one point if she is a lesbian and if she and Bonnie have ever had sex, but the exact nature of the girls' feelings towards one another is never made clear.

''Fun'' is a 1994 independent drama film directed by Rafal Zielinski. It stars Creator/AliciaWitt and Renée Humphrey as Bonnie and Hillary, two {{Troubled Teen}}s who become fast friends after a chance meeting while both are running away from home, and on impulse decide to murder an old woman.

The film cuts back and forth between the past and present. Scenes showing Bonnie and Hillary's relationship leading up to the murder are filmed in color, while present ones showing them at the juvenile detention center are done in black and white.

The film is based on the 1983 murder of Anna Brackett by Cindy Collier and Shirley Wolf. The title is derived from a diary entry by Wolf, which read: ''"Today, Cindy and I ran away and killed an old lady. It was lots of fun."''

For their performances, Witt and Humphrey both won a Special Jury Recognition award at the 1994 Sundance Film Festival.
