* TheAlcatraz: Subverted. Devil's Station is described as a "hellhole" and having a maze-like design, but it's largely a bog-standard prison complex and not much is made of breaking in or out.

After the daughter of a Hong Kong mogul is kidnapped and sent to an underground prison, Ray Breslin and his team are all hired to rescue her and her entourage. However, the situation soon becomes complicated when Breslin discovers that the man behind said abduction is the son of Lester Clark, who is out for revenge after what Breslin and his team did to Clark in the events of the first movie. When Abigail is abducted as well, Breslin soon finds himself in a race against time to save both the mogul's daughter as well as his lover.

----
!!This film provides examples of:

* AintTooProudToBeg: [[spoiler:Lester Clark Jr. repeatedly begs Breslin to "wait" while he's delivering a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown, and again mere seconds before Breslin cuts his throat open]].
* BigBad: Lester Clark Jr., the warden of the Devil's Station prison facility.
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist: [[spoiler:Jaspar Kimbral]] was a sadistic warden who targeted criminals and innocents alike, and he wanted revenge on Breslin for an incredibly petty reason that was entirely ''his'' fault. Here, Lester Clark Jr. only imprisons ''actual'' criminals, and all the innocents he harmed were collateral damage in his quest for revenge against Breslin and Zhang--a quest he began because Breslin and his team were solely responsible for getting Clark Jr.'s father shipped out of the country in the first film.
* DemotedToExtra: Hush has very little screentime compared to the first and second films, seeing as this movie focuses more on the side characters involved in the mogul's subplot.
* ForcedToWatch: [[spoiler:Breslin can do nothing as Clark Jr. sends a live video feed directly to his phone of Abigail getting her throat slit]].
* ItsPersonal: Lester Clark Jr's main motivation for going after Breslin's crew. He wants revenge for his crew getting his father shipped out of the country, presumably to an underground prison facility to rot.
* NoHoldsBarredBeatdown: During the climax, [[spoiler:Breslin pulverizes Clark Jr. without breaking a sweat. The only time Clark Jr. lands any punches are when Breslin intentionally ''baits'' him into punching him]].
* SlashedThroat: How Lester Clark Jr. kills [[spoiler:Abigail. Breslin returns the favor on Clark Jr. during the climax]].
* SmugSnake: While he's certainly intelligent, and not as overconfident as [[spoiler:Kimbral]], Lester Clark Jr. has a habit of thinking he's always in control of the situation, and he loses his composure whenever things go awry.
* StuffedIntoTheFridge: [[spoiler:Clark Jr. successfully kidnaps and murders Abigail, Breslin's lover, and has the audacity to record himself killing her on his phone so Breslin can watch]].
* TrailersAlwaysSpoil: The Red Band trailer spoils [[spoiler:Breslin giving Lester Clark Jr. the NoHoldsBarredBeatdown]], and briefly spoils [[spoiler:Clark Jr. falling to his death]].
* WardensAreEvil: Downplayed. Unlike the previous two films, Lester Clark Jr. is not as malicious to his prisoners, and most of said prisoners are ''actual'' criminals who deserve to be there. Nevertheless, he has no problem with torturing, or even killing, innocent people who have nothing to do with his vendetta against Breslin.
* WhamShot: Just before the third act, we see Clark Jr. sending a live video feed of himself standing next to Abigail. [[spoiler:It immediately cuts to him cutting her throat open]].
