Seeing his confusion, the facilitator sends him to another room, while another man who attempts to intercede on his behalf is cruelly punished. A man on another television screen explains that he is dead, and in the afterlife. He has killed his wife, the man says, and must come to accept this before he moves on. Edgar vehemently denies, this, claiming there has been some mistake, but is thrust into another memories where he views what happened again.
