''Broadway Bill'' (1934) is a Creator/FrankCapra film starring Creator/WarnerBaxter and Creator/MyrnaLoy.

Dan Brooks (Baxter) has married into the Higgins dynasty and hates the job his father-in-law (Walter Connelly) has given him. His wife doesn't understand why he hates the job, but his sister-in-law Princess (Loy) knows that his heart lies with racing horses.

He's trained his horse, the eponymous Broadway Bill, to run and is sure he'll win at the Imperial racetrack. He runs away from Higginsville to pursue his dream where Princess follows him.

There with the help of his friend Whitey (Clarence Muse), the Colonel Pettigrew, and Princess, he tries to raise enough money to enter Broadway Bill into the race.

The road to winning a race is filled with various hurdles that Dan tries his best to overcome. But can his ideals win over the harsh realities of this competitive world?

His Dan's wife Margaret (Helen Vinson) doesn't understand why he hates the job, but his sister-in-law Princess Alice (Loy) knows that his heart lies with racing horses.

He's Dan has trained his horse, the eponymous Broadway Bill, to run and is sure he'll win at the Imperial racetrack. He Derby, so he runs away from Higginsville to pursue his dream at the Imperial Racetrack, where Princess follows him.

with the help of his friend Whitey (Clarence Muse), the Colonel Pettigrew, Pettigrew (Raymond Walburn), and Princess, Alice, he tries to raise enough money to enter Broadway Bill into the race.
