Staging one with dancers as in the film would have scandalized the Inquisitors themselves, as they expected those acts to frighten the crowds into behaving as the Kingdom's laws ordered, not to be seen as entertainment. That those dancers even wear Satanist/pagan-like goat masks is downright nonsensical.
** Royal fashion at the setting could certainly get very outrageous, but no Spanish queen would sport the strange kind of exotic warpaint the one from the film sports.
