Whoops, turns out I need to apply for it.

Murder the Hero by [=EarthScorpion=]
* Synopsis: A more traditional roleswap compared to Slay the Narrator above, where the Narrator guides a princess to a lake to kill a FallenHero lest he end the world. What puts this apart from other roleswaps is that only the Hero and the Princess' main roles have been swapped, so their abilities as the Shifting Mound and the Long Quiet remain the same. It takes a lot of inspiration from Fanfic/TheFuryOfAShatteredMirror, specifically with the formatting that makes it resemble more of Slay the Princess's in-game style. And like The Fury Of A Shattered Mirror, it is still ongoing.

Please see notes from previous edit. Renamed Role Swaps to Swapped Roles (to match the Trope name).

Added Custom Routes (since they're the most common fan-fiction type from the community) and Roll Swaps (also added back "Slay the Narrator" as an example, as the rules on this page state that We can add fan fictions outside of the Wiki with the words "feel free to add your own").

I see there is a request process for authors of fan fictions. I have removed "Slay The Narrator", since I need to apply first.

* Synopsis: A crossover between VisualNovel/SlayThePrincess and VideoGame/DiscoElysium, written in the style of Disco Elysium - yes, that includes skill checks. A long, incredibly ambitious story that finds every possible link between the stories - from amnesiac protagonists with heads full of voices, to a greater force of forgetting and dissolution - and lays them out by trapping Harry Dubois in the Construct. Want to combine the mechanics of both games? Want to see the Specter possession scene drawn out and made more complicated? Want to see well-observed original Chapter Three Princess variants? Want to see the Narrator getting his way sometimes and sometimes getting outrageously frustrated? Do you like InterfaceScrew? You don't have to know everything about Disco Elysium to understand this fic, when the Pale comes up it is explained, but it helps to at least have watched some of the (dialogue-based) gameplay. The story is still ongoing.

These are recommendations made by tropers for Slay the Princess fanfics, all of which have to be signed to stay on the page. After a few samples, you will be able to note the interests of the tropers recommending them, and judge whether you might be also interested in a certain 'fic.

Feel free to add a fanfic of your own to the list, but remember to use the template found herea copy of the template is just below. Do warn when a fanfic may head into sexualplease note this includes all sexual activity, not just homosexual or bisexual, including het. or non-canon territory. Some people just don't like it, and as we all know, Shipping is SeriousBusiness.

Reviews of fics are encouraged, but if you choose to write one, please make it substantive, and give specific details about what you liked / disliked in the fic. If you want to give a fic a thumbs-up without writing a full review, you can add your troper handle to the Recommendations Line. Please refrain from posting "Comments" or Administrivia/ConversationInTheMainPage though; that goes in the discussion page.
