This fic details what happens after Ash comes back home, gets bored, and goes to visit Shigeru's workplace at ancient ruins, beeing thrown into a time where the ruins were alive with people and a unique culture. But why were they put there? And who put them there? Shigeru and Satoshi must find themselves, find out what's going on, and find a way home.

•''Pairing(s)'': Shigeru/Satoshi or Gary/Ash. This is male slash, but as a romance is very tastefully written. This is equally a romance and adventure story.

**** @/FalconPain: Those examples reflect one of Farla's biggest pet peeves: catching and training a Pokemon that doesn't want to be caught or trained and treating it as anything other than abuse. I find the stories worth a read but not necessarily worth taking to heart, as there are some chapters that don't sit right with me; her chapter about why a character shouldn't start the journey as an older teenager sounds dangerously close to "if you aren't training Pokemon by age ten, you shouldn't be training them at all", or even "Pokemon training is kid's stuff that adults should be embarrassed to still be doing".

* ''Synopsis'': "Kenshin,Phantom,and Emmet is a Fic that focuses on Cyrus' son,Kenshin. In it,Kenshin goes on a journey to a new region called "Retclon" and is forced to fight a group of "Gay Pussy's" called Team Destiny alongside the Region Champion Zack.
* ''Comments'': At first,it just seems as if it's another "New Trainer in new region" Fic, but I found out this is not the case. For starter's,it is implied that Kenshin has many years of training under his belt. There's a bit of drama,and there's some comedy that made me crack a smile once in a while. The author has a lot of grammar problems,but starts shaping up after awhile. A very good read.

Bonus points for [[ZigZaggingTrope how it deals with]] FantasyGunControl.
** [[YourMileageMayVary Your mileage may vary on this one]], as there are many people who hate it for justifiable reasons (most of which are to do with the writing style, characters, plot development and other components), and also people who love it despite of these reasons. The author also...[[SmallNameBigEgo CANNOT take critque]], which had lead to many a flame war in the reviews section.
** It should be noted that the author [[{{Flanderization}} flanderizes]] Teams Aqua and Magma to {{Knight Templar}} territory and creates a religion that's little more than a {{Take That}} on the Christian Church, and several of the ([[SuspiciouslySpecificDenial (NOT an]] {{Author Avatar}}) main character's lines are {{Anvilicious}} atheistic creeds. Plus, the {{Humans Are Bastards}} lines, coupled with an {{Author Appeal}} for Pokémon as perfectly pure, innocent beings (which aren't exactly passed on as just the characters' thoughts) can be quite a turn off.
** Gloss over the {{Squick}} and fap material, and what you get here is one hell of a turgid read. I don't know why this fic deserved a recommendation when the only questionably positive qualities it has going are its EPIC length and proper grammar. There are better fics than this obvious wish fulfillment.

* ''Synopsis'':''Kenshin,Phantom,And Emmet:3 sides of the same coin'',is the story of Cyrus' son,Kenshin,as he tries to adapt to a new region called retclon with a High Victini named Victor,a psycophathic Zorua named Ark,a Magikarp that always wins it's fights by bludgeoning them to death named Dragon,a Reshiram who uses insane amounts of nail polish named Yin,a Kleptomaniac Zekrom named Yang,a crippled Kyurem named Wuji,and the only straight Shaymin in the world named sonic.While there he befriends the Champion Zack,who uses hack pokemon.Kenshins quest to evolve his Zorua grants him the attention of Team Destiny,whose leader is the mysterious Phantom,Emmet,the blind champion of the metro region,and Aria,a young girl who helps Kenshin on his quest.While in Retclon,he has to deal with the painful memories of his father's disapperaence and his mommy issues surrounding the woman who abandoned him as a child.
* ''Comments'':Overall,it is a pretty good story.however,there are some parts that may seem confusing to first time readers.As the author stated right before the prologue,the beginning will be good natured but will delve into some nightmare fuel.

Plus, the {{Humans Are Bastards}} lines, coupled with an {{Author Appeal}} for Pokémon as perfectly pure, innocent beings (which aren't exactly passed on as just the characters' thoughts) can be quite a turn off. That said, the unveiling of the story works smoothly, with well spaced out events (both major and minor), with some nice, if somewhat minor, plot twists. If you can stomach the [[{{AuthorTract}} author's opinion]] about religion and faith, go for it.
