Spelling/grammar fix(es), Trope was cut/disambiguated due to cleanup

After 40 chapters, it was stated that ''Young Midoriya'' had finished it's "first half" on a {{cliffhanger}}, and that [=Matty014=] would be taking a break before continuing. [[ScheduleSlip After a year and a half of no updates though]], they eventually updated the fic stating [[DeadFic they had no desire to continue writing it]], nor ''any'' of their fics for ''Manga/MyHeroAcademia'' after finding they no longer enjoyed it like they used to, added by being preoccupied with a new job, leaving ''Young Midoriya'' officially abandoned.

While not explicitly stated, it becomes clear that he's begun to view Midoriya in this capacity. This or these examples of Surprisingly Realistic Outcome seem to violate at least one of these rules, which disqualifies them: No character reactions (characters get angry, don't forgive, don't change their personality instantly, etc.); Too fantastical (depends on the properties of magic, powers, sci-fi tech, monsters, etc.); Not surprising (a character was warned about the outcome, it's used to provide Karma or An Aesop, or it simply follows normal conventions for this genre or medium); Plot happens (the example only describes an event, but not why audiences would expect a different, unrealistic outcome); Not an outcome (a character just explains why something wouldn't work as expected, or something is just an innate aspect of the setting or character that has a logical reason for being present); More of a Deconstruction (the event has major, lasting effects on the plot, make something more realistic, but not completely realistic, or a parody/fanwork applies realistic consequences to the events of a different work); or fits better under a different trope. See the trope's definition for more details. If you believe a removal was a mistake, please bring it up in the cleanup thread.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Starting with when Izuku first catches All Might's attention, there are multiple instances:
** All Might decides to have Izuku inherit One For All and train him under his Toshinori Yagi persona... But first has to invent a scholarship, as Inko wouldn't trust a random stranger without a reason, even if she met him because he kept bullies from Izuku.
*** Given that the different circumstances allow him to use his resources more, All Might does just that and calls upon various people to give him lessons in combat and Hero ethics, and has Nezu and Gran Torino help.
** Izuku was severely traumatized by Bakugo's bullying and needs therapy. After many therapy sessions, his admiration for Bakugo completely disappears.
** Izuku inherits One for All about a year before enrolling at U.A., and after years of training. He injures himself less upon the first use of his new Quirk, Gran Torino's presence allows him to figure out Full Cowl much faster, and by the entrance exam he can use it up to 8% continuously.
*** Because the above-mentioned training, which included not only exercise but a better diet and rest schedule, Izuku is not only fitter but taller: turns out the stress of dealing with Bakugo and the poor sleep he had been getting were stunting his growth...

Okay, people need to realize exactly what Surprisingly Realistic Outcome means. It means the outcome is something you'd find in Real Life rather than what is realistic to the setting. Putting aside the nature of MHA's setting, it's still set in Japan, whereas the response given here would be more realistic if the setting was America or Western, but Values Dissonance is in effect, meaning it is not this trope. That includes Bakugo's bullying, Mineta's perversion, Aizawa's teaching methods, Endeavor's abuse being kept quiet, etc. The trope isn't "The situation is treated in a generally realistic manner", it has to be realistic to the setting and go against the conventions the work would normally use.

** All Might is not thrilled with Bakugo's behavior at all and pulls many strings to keep him away from Izuku. Bakugo tries to bully him anyway... And All Might's collaborators flat-out threaten him with arrest for illegal Quirk usage.

** Mineta was switched to class 1-B, thus he didn't get Aizawa as his homeroom teacher and attended the entrance ceremony... During which his antics earned him ''sixteen complaints for sexual harassment'' and a swift expulsion from his appalled homeroom teacher Vlad.
** Nezu puts Izuku and Bakugo in the same class (against Toshinori's wishes) in the hope that being forced to be around each other would help them get over their issues. Unfortunately, this could only work if ''both'' parties are willing to put in the effort - while Izuku gains a massive boost in confidence and even manages to make friends, Bakugo is still the same arrogant asshole from middle school. Even after [[spoiler: losing to Izuku in the Sports Festival]], it's clear he's learned nothing. So after yet another incident with Bakugo antagonizing Izuku, Nezu issues an ultimatum: get counseling for his anger issues, or be expelled.
*** On the topic of Bakugo’s behavior, it’s treated a lot more seriously once the story starts at UA. For example, during the Battle Trials, Bakugo completely ignored Izuku’s help and tried to do things by himself. Not only did he and Izuku lose and he was called out for his reckless action, but All Might also punishes him for his willingness to belittle Izuku.
** Nezu confesses to Toshinori that the reason U.A. has put up with Bakugo's attitude for so long is because he's too powerful to be allowed to become a villain and that expelling him outright could push him down that path. That said, the staff is only willing to be so lenient, and outright assaulting another student is something that will NOT be tolerated.

* DramaticallyMissingThePoint: Played With. Miruko chastises Midoriya for leaving her supervision, illegally using his Quirk, attacking a villain without proper authorization and getting to kick Stain's ass while she ends up getting the credit for it and not getting the satisfaction to have actually done so herself. All in all, Miruko's proud of Midoriya for having taken down the Hero Killer, even if he did have help.
