* AdaptationalIntelligence: While Goliaths were already established to be intelligent in canon, in this setting Oobleck reveals they are so smart they ''prophetic''. It’s shown they are well aware when the Fall of Beacon will begin, and as a result hold off until the time comes.

* DoesNotLikeShoes: It is mentioned that Salem is barefoot under her king dress.

* TheDreaded: Salem is so feared the usually haughty and arrogant Watts folds like wet paper when she orders him to stop mocking Cinder.

* TheBusCameBack: After being absent for almost the entirety of Volume 4, team CARD return at the tail end and are set to make appearances in Volume 5.
* ControlFreak: Jacques desires control above all. He needs to control his family, his business, and if he becomes a member of the council, Atlas itself.

Added DiffLines:

* CorruptCorporateExecutive:
** Jacques is even more corrupt here than in canon. He enslaves Faunus, kills business rivals and is overall an abusive, controlling man out for himself.
** Damian Void is right alongside him and possibly even ''worse'', as he finds the White Fang, supplying them with weapons they need to slaughter humans. He’s also a sadistic monster who personally planned out attacks to kill business rivals.

Added DiffLines:

* GoodParents: The Belladonna’s. Ghira and Kali are incredibly loving, supportive and protective of Blake. When she returned to them after having verbally ripped them a new one and joining a terrorist organization, they welcome her with open arms.

* SpreeKiller:
** Void goes on one after the breach fails, he and his forces go around torturing and killing innocents to make up for the people who didn’t fire during the breach.
** Back when he was slaughtering villages, Wendigo slaughtered the entirety of Nora’s village, and did the same to Ren’s the next night.

* GetAHoldOfYourselfMan: A rare example of this trope not working. After coming face-to-face with Wendigo, who revealed he killed Summer, Ruby goes into a state of shot so deep Pyrrha smacking her in the face doesn’t get a reaction out of her. It isn’t until Pyrrha is screaming in pain as Wendigo attempts to rip her prosthetic leg off does she snap out of it, unintentionally blasting Wendigo with her silver eyes in the process.

* AxCrazy: A great many of the villains:
** Watts is a vicious egomaniac who felt so personally slighted by Ironwood he’s committed mass slaughter and torture with sadistic relish. That’s not even getting into the fact he enjoys causing traffic accidents ForTheEvulz.
** Adam Taurus is even more vile and depraved here than in canon. A petty and vindictive PsychopathicManchild, Adam is a frothing-at-mouth {{sadist}} who gleefully slaughtered Vale with his forces.
** Wendigo used to butcher entire villages and kept trophies in a manner disturbingly reminiscent of a SerialKiller. He hasn’t changed much in the present, showing excitement to hunt down the Huntsman in Mistral and gleefully attempts to murder Ruby’s friends.

Added DiffLines:

* HeroKiller: In the "Kuroyuri" arc, it’s revealed that Wendigo is the one who killed Summer Rose.

*** The first is when Ruby has to put her in line for acting like a spoiled brat because Ozpin chose Ruby as team leader instead of her. She tells Weiss that while Ruby has been doing what she can to be the best leader possible despite the fact that she still feels in over her head, Weiss has done nothing but demean and belittle others rather than even attempt to be a cohesive team member. She end it by pointing out that even though Weiss calls Ruby immature, Ruby correctly points out that [[{{Hypocrite}} Weiss isn't a bastion of maturity herself for how she has been behaving]].

* BigBadWannabe: Jax Asturias and The Crown as a whole. While a group of loathsome, monstrous bastards, they are ultimately run by a completely delusional child who was only allowed to run around for as long as he did because his sister couldn’t work up the nerve to rat him out. When people become aware of them and have the nerve his sister lacks, they crumble rather quickly.

* HumanTraffickers: A three-way network between Jax, Carter Pillar, and Jacques Schnee. Jax abducts Faunus from Vacuo and ships them over to Patch so Carter can MindRape them, then he ships them over to Jacques so he can force the mindless slaves to work in the dust mines.
