** This incarnation of Red Alert is a security officer alongside a medic, the former reminiscent of his G1 incarnation, and the latter, in addition to his initially-grouchy personality and being an old friend of Optimus, reminiscent of ''Prime'' Ratchet. His general appearance is described as similar to ''[[Anime/TransformersArmada Armada]]'' Red Alert.

** Frenzy retains his G1 personality and appearance, but now he's a Mini-con partnered with Barricade and has a sawblade in his arsenal, much like his [[Film/{{Transformers}} 2007 live-action movie]] counterpart. Barricade himself is based on his IDW 2005 self with the "snarky number two" element borrowed from ''Prime'' Knock Out, and the alt-mode of his ''War for Cybertron: Earthrise'' toy.

** On a related note, since Bumblebee gives [[OriginalCharacter Kaida Kiryu]] a lift after she missed her train, she makes it to U.A. on time and replaces Mineta in Class 1-A, implicitly due to her scaring him off when he tried to catch a ride on her during the Exam.

* OrcusOnHisThrone: Apparently, Megatron spends most of his time on his throne on Cybertron, refusing to expand the Decepticon empire until Optimus is confirmed dead. Something that bugs Starscream to no end.

* ScreamsLikeALittleGirl: Jazz, who's already anxious because of the Scraplets, does this in Chapter 13 after the lights go out, to the surprise and amusement of Iida, Kyoka and Strongarm.

Megatron, especially so, as his own troops share this sentiment. While Starscream is part of the eponymous Decepticon group "The Big Four" he is not respected by his own crew and enemies as much as the aforementioned three. If anything his position as "Second-In-Command" makes him a part of said group.
