''The Superheroics of Haruhi Suzumiya'' is a FusionFic of ''Literature/HaruhiSuzumiya'' and ''Manga/MyHeroAcademia'' written by Creator/{{FoxOnPie}}, of ''Fanfic/NeitherABirdNorAPlaneItsDeku'' fame. In an AlternateUniverse, Izuku Midoriya has a fateful encounter when a girl named Haruhi Suzumiya is transferred to his 6th Grade class. As the girl openly reveals to everyone that she's Quirkless, and strikes a conversation with him, the two end up becoming fast friends. After inadvertedly causing everyone to mock Izuku for his dream of being a Hero despite being Quirkless, Haruhi apologizes and the two make a promise to one day become great heroes no matter what everyone says about it.

** Izuku's mom Inko gets a bit of this, when she doesn't let Izuku explain that he's going to hang out with another friend who ''isn't'' Bakugou.

* BadassNormal: Both Haruhi and Izuku want to become this. Haruhi also mentions ComicBook/IronMan and ComicBook/{{Batman}} as examples of popular fiction's perception of this but points out their supposed super-intelligence disqualifies them.

* CareerEndingInjury: Subverted. While working as a Pro Hero, Sakuta received an injury that left him scars on the chest, and although it wasn't life-threatening, he decided to retire after realizing how dangerous his line of work could be, and to raise a family with his wife.

* CovertPervert: Chapter two makes it clear that Izuku's inherited Kyon's ponytail fetish. He's also not above glancing at older women wearing swimsuits.

** In Chapter 4, Izuku and Haruhi mention to have visited Gunhead's martial arts studio, and also briefly met Itsuka Kendou at another place.

** Izuku takes Kyon's place in the SOS Brigade, although the first chapter implies it's Bakugou who does the heavy lifting (at least for the movie they produced).
** Haruhi befriends Izuku before the fateful baseball game she attends with her family that gets her to realize how ordinary she actually is compared to everyone else.
** Instead of attending Aldera Junior High like in canon, Izuku chooses to go to the East Junior High with Haruhi.

* HypocriticalHumor: While at the beach, Nodoka tells Haruhi that her swimsuit is a bit too bold, when she's wearing one that exposes about the same amount of skin. Izuku mentally [[LampshadeHanging lampshades it.]]
