She has difficulty believing it due to the sheer number of coincidences needed to line it up the scenario, namely that the man they just met knew the men she kept pulling an ISurrenderSuckers on and was trying to kill them when a manticore suddenly popped up and ate him before leaving, and Tiffania was checking to see if he was still poisoned.

* RunningGage: Luise considering letting Saito visit a brothel as either a reward or bribe.

* BedmateReveal: Chapter 54 has Saito stripping down to get into bed, only to find that Lady Charlotte is already there.

* PeoplePuppets: Sheffield did this to Saito in Chapter 66, making him stab himself.
* PetMonstrosity: Lord Belmont keeps a lot of these, but currently has a 12-headed Hydra that Saito and Louise have to deal with in Chapter 84.

** It runs in her family considering Eleanor got pissed at Wardes for fighting an Elf that trying to kill them in Chapter 75.

* BrokenPedestal: Whatever admiration that Louise and Saito had for Lady Charlotte, Wardes, and the Cardinal shattered after TheReveal in Chapter 73 and 74.

* CombatPragmatist: Luise doesn't fight fair in battle, perfectly willing to lie to get an upper-hand, put [[ForcedSleep you to sleep]] and [[KleptomaniacHero then steal all your stuff]] and leave you stranded in the middle of the wilderness. See ISurrenderSuckers for her most frequent offense.

* TheDreaded: Elves. Bidashal demonstrates why in Chapter 75.

* ForcedSleep: The first spell other than an explosion Luise can successfully use, it's noted to be a Water-aligned spell. She uses it the most when she doesn't want to kill something, like subduing a SwarmOfRats or bandits.

* [[WhamEpisode Wham Chapter]]: Chapter 53, just after the King of Gallia has been assassinated, has the Cardinal admit to what he did and then send Louise and Saito to retrieve Henrietta's letters.
