This or these examples of Surprisingly Realistic Outcome seem to violate at least one of these rules, which disqualifies them: No character reactions (characters get angry, don't forgive, don't change their personality instantly, etc.); Too fantastical (depends on the properties of magic, powers, sci-fi tech, monsters, etc.); Not surprising (a character was warned about the outcome, it's used to provide Karma or An Aesop, or it simply follows normal conventions for this genre or medium); Plot happens (the example only describes an event, but not why audiences would expect a different, unrealistic outcome); Not an outcome (a character just explains why something wouldn't work as expected, or something is just an innate aspect of the setting or character that has a logical reason for being present); More of a Deconstruction (the event has major, lasting effects on the plot, make something more realistic, but not completely realistic, or a parody/fanwork applies realistic consequences to the events of a different work); or fits better under a different trope. See the trope's definition for more details. If you believe a removal was a mistake, please bring it up in the cleanup thread.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome:
** When Harry first arrives, he doesn't understand a word of (almost) any language used, and becomes a smuggler to support himself as he has no knowledge, money, or identification that could help him.
** At one point, Harry tries firing spells at a pirate ship attacking his ship, and he misses horribly until R2-D2 helps him since in space, he has no way of judging relative velocity, size, or distance.
** No matter how good a combat robot is, in the event of fighting a Sith it is likelier that the latter will win without a problem [[spoiler:as shown in Chapter 12 of ''Unsuspecting'', where Dooku easily defeats HK-47 by using the Force.]]
** The sudden opening of a place with air to vacuum will cause anything within to be affected, [[spoiler:with Dooku getting knocked out when Anakin deactivates the force field keeping the air within the hangar he, Harry and Dooku are in and the latter hits his head against the emergency locking gate.]]
** When a droid ship launches a couple squadrons of drones at Harry's ship, the crew doesn't have to worry about them for over three hours because they came out of hyperspace early and so are still hundreds of thousands of miles away.
** Harry's tendency to work solo (brought from how he could not count on people during his work on Earth) makes it hard for him to work along with other people, and other people with him. It takes some CharacterDevelopment to learn to delegate and defer to those who are better in tasks he is not so good at.
*** When it comes down to piloting a ship, Harry eventually realizes that it's better to let professionals handle the flying - while he can make all the checks, the professionals do it a lot better and in less time than he does.
*** When he takes over the ''Godric's Hollow'' station, Harry almost goes crazy trying to understand every detail about the station, such as security or air recycling. He ends up reading just enough to understand the basics, uses spells to reduce the station's requirements and has others take the job of ensuring the managing at a micro level is working.
*** During the fight in Mandalore, the Mandalorian clans that have signed in with Harry feel disappointed that their purported leader is unable to actually lead armies. Harry admits this and accepts handing operational control of the missions to Axl, the highest ranked Mandalorian. This proves fundamental when the attack against Jabba the Hutt happens - Harry's usual modus operandi would have lead to multiple innocent deaths.
** Harry's status as "Fate's bitch", referencing how his plans always go wrong in horrible ways, is mostly his own fault as he [[LeeroyJenkins tends to charge in with little information, only the basics of a plan, and no contingencies]].

** Apparation requires the user to account for the angle of the planet and their current velocity when they travel long distances. While apparating around a small country the size of England is fine, intercontinental is almost impossible as they have to mentally calculate what angle and velocity they need to arrive in so as not to teleport onto their face at considerable speed. When apparating at terminal velocity, Harry needs several extra seconds to figure out how to cancel his momentum lest he just spaltter across the pavement.

** Harry's "bribe" towards a Corsec officer is several ''million'' tons of gardening supplies and helpfully labelled "bribe", along with a single pair of gardening gloves.
** After using a repairing charm to restore multiple droids owned by crime lords, Harry then earns immunity for basically all of his crimes by selling the information to the authorities on every planet that he's committed a crime on. Several officers are outraged by his actions but all admit the intel is more important than an offensive but (relatively) small time criminal.
