This ironically leaves Ginny ''less'' inclined towards those pursuits because she resents her mother trying to fit her into a mold she doesn't like, and drives her to rebel by secretly teaching herself how to fly on her brothers' old brooms and later playing Quidditch at Hogwarts.

Since Kreacher is required to obey his masters' orders, he's forced to try and bring healers from St. Mungo's inside the house past all the wards meant to keep intruders out instead of just taking [[spoiler:Walburga]] to St. Mungo's. [[spoiler:By the time they finally reach her, it's too late for them to revive her.]]

** After [[spoiler:Lucius Malfoy is arrested]], Voldemort edits out his words to make Draco think [[spoiler:his father got captured in the fight, instead of because Voldemort torturing him, taking his wand and leaving him to the Aurors]].

Kreacher immediately assumes this means Sirius intends to free him, prompting Kreacher to throw away his pride and grovel in hopes of avoiding the dishonor. However, Sirius really just planned on giving Kreacher to Narcissa, a "proper" pure-blood whom Kreacher had actually wanted to go serve. Nevertheless, Sirius decides to pretend as if Kreacher's promise of loyalty convinced him to change his mind and let Kreacher continue serving the House of Black. [[spoiler:This ultimately leads to Kreacher becoming genuinely loyal to Sirius, as well as Sirius growing much more appreciative of Kreacher.]]

* EroticDream: More like an Erotic Daydream, happening in the aftermath of the Six taking nude pictures of Draco and Pancy, where [[ShowerScene a showering Luna]] imagines herself naked and Neville taking a picture of her.

* VomitIndiscretionShot: Happens every time Umbridge tries to teach after opposition to her tyranny ramps up, to the point teaching soons becomes impossible as dozens of students barf everywhere, generating a nauseating odor. In one of the last classes she tries to hold, Luna goes as far as pretending to ask her something so that she can approach and vomit on Umbridge's shoes.

* SecretTestOfCharacter: When Amelia Bones visits Prime Minister John Major to update him into what's going on in magical Britain, the latter keeps the fact that he already knows everything secret to see if she's serious in her commitment to improve the situation. Fortunately, she passes it - although she notes that this may bring more trouble to her if it's revealed.

He's eventually arrested and is outed as having abused his position to commit massive fraud, which never happened in canon. On the other hand, when one member of Greyback's pack questions his recent tactics of organizing multiple random attacks, Greyback replies "No questions are stupid" and explains that his goal was to draw attention away from his main target. Moreover, when discussing his plans for [[spoiler:an attack on Hogwarts]], he's upfront about how most of them will die, gives everyone a chance to back out, and feels genuine pride when none of them do.
