* WhipItGood: One of Noir's weapons is Night Sun, a simple bullwhip that folds up into his mask for easy storage.

* SimpleStaff: Lyla's weapon of choice is a simple wooden staff that can unfold into a fully-functional glider. Oh, and it's also a sniper.

However, their paths divulge pretty severely at the point where while Noir has been healed of his insanity issued, Licorice never has. Thusly, their moralities have been almost polar opposites. While Noir is more stoic and reserved, Licorice is more boisterous and flamboyant. In addition, while Noir pairs his whip with a pistol, Licorice is paired with a [[KnifeNut Dagger]], allowing her to be extra sadistic. In addition, both have a motif regarding masks. Noir wears a physical mask over his face to conceal his identity. In a similar vein, Licorice [[spoiler: has a metaphorical mask as her Semblance, giving the illusion of sanity.]] Both end up taking off the masks over time. Noir removes his as he gets more mature, while Licorice [[spoiler: loses hers as she begins to lose control.]]

Verse has been tailoring it little by little as he grows, to the point where it’s more his handiwork than his mother’s. Now it seems like a final showdown between Verse and one of the Initiates is soon to come. However, which Initiate remains unclear.]]
