Somewhat LighterAndSofter than canon ([[FinaglesLaw for now]]), with a focus on character development, Queen of the Swarm looks at [[AlternativeCharacterInterpretation different aspects of the characters]] than are focused on in ''Worm'', most notably Taylor's self-image issues.
