*NoHoldsBarredBeatdown: Thalia gives a brutal one to the person who stole the Sun Chariot from Apollo that even Apollo feels initially bad for before realising who it was.
*NoSell: Percy after assisting the Apollo Cabin with the chariot accidentally gets pricked by a Pit Venom Scorpion, a venom which nearly killed him in the original timeline. Small problem. It has absolutely no effect other than Percy subsuming it.
*OffScreenMomentOfAwesome: More so since the story focuses on Percy's perspective and some of the events he does not personally witness. Will later elaborates that Nico froze Spring Street, turned monsters into ghosts and drowned them in shadows. While with Thalia she managed to create multiplication arrows and lightning rain.]]
*OffWithHisHead: Medusa again.
*OneManArmy: Percy, Nico and Thalia all categorise as one and are the major game changers in the Second War against the Titans. It gets to the point where hundreds of monsters during the Battle of Manhatten against only themselves and them actively telling their backup to retreat so as they don't accidentally kill them through friendly fire. [[spoiler: Even Hazel gets her own little mention of her own exploits being the only Roman to remember and quickly rising through the ranks and gaining Dakota's trust in a short time.]]
*OnlySaneMan: [[spoiler: Hazel is the only time traveler with even an inch of respect for the Gods]] as opposed the trio of self appointed Chaos Gremlins and is recognised as such.
*ParentheticalSwearing: Dam and Schist are two swears that Percy uses often. Both are inside jokes that Percy was a part of. But it's pretty obviously referring to damn and shit respectively. Funny enough the series does not shy away from swearing either.
*PoisonedWeapons: Kampê scimitars.
*PoisonIsEvil: Percy has got in his head even years after first using his abilities in Tartarus and was haunted by Annabeth's reaction to it that he tried to close it off . It takes Triton and Poseidon to talk him out of the further potential of his powers. And Will further explains Percy's ability could also create effective antidote.
*PowerIncontinence: Percy upon accepting his poison abilties can barely control them. He develops venom in his mouth but beyond that he does not know how to externally produce it. Until that is in the fight against Hyperion, Percy accidentally conjures a toxic hurricane with the poison that nearly killed Poseidon to take care of Hyperion in a brutal manner.
*ProngsOfPoseidon: In addition the actual trident Poseidon wields. Percy managed to acquire his own named Current which can shrink to a necklace and he can control thanks to the water manipulation. Riptide is still Percy's primary weapon but Current does help if the situation if particularly dicey.
*RageBreakingPoint: Will reaches it by the time the Olympians appear after defeating Typhon early and the others start breaking down and ranting about Percy's acid hurricane and killing Hyperion. Will rants about Nico donwplaying freezing Spring Street, turning monsters into ghosts and drowning monsters into shadows and Thalia's arrow multiplication and lightning rain.
--> ''Will blinked. He pulled a face as if he was yearning for something to scream into. Opening his mouth, he visibly searched for words before closing it again, snapping around on his heel and taking three steps away from Nico. "I fucking can't with you!" he yelled to the sky. He dropped his hands, inhaling deeply and turned around again, levelling Nico and Percy with an impressive glare.''
*RewatchBonus: A lot of the interactions with Poseidon and Percy as the story progresses take new meaning when [[spoiler: it's revealed that Poseidon was gradually regaining his own memories of the past events but kept this information from Percy due to more immediate matters until Percy directly confronted him about it. ]]
*SayingTooMuch: This is what keyed [[spoiler: Triton to the whole time travel business after Percy accidentally mentioned having a sister Estelle. Only problem is Estelle isn't even born yet. ]]
*SecretKeeper: Poseidon is the first one to know the full scale having been told of the fate his son had endured and survived the entire time and is more active in assisting with Percy thanks to the both of them sharing their knowledge and actively preparing for war as a result. [[spoiler: Later Amphrite, Triton and Apollo also join these ranks.]]
*SeenItAll: Percy has seen quite a lot and seen and experienced many of these things before. So when Dionysus brings him to Bobby Earl birthday party to convince him to keep fighting for Olympus, Percy yells that is exactly what he was doing and he knows full well that Kronos will emerge within a day and has the attitude of an experienced gamer trying very hard to press skip on the compulsory dialogue section.
*SetRightWhatOnceWentWrong: After pondering to himself in the middle of the ocean of all the wrongs he could right. Percy wakes up on the morning of his museum trip, twelve years old and in the past. [[spoiler: It is later revealed Nico, Thalia and Hazel also travelled as well and while neither Apollo or Poseidon did so, upon being told the future they started to recall snippets of their memories too and work to make things easier.]]
*ShutUpHannibal: Upon meeting with Prometheus Percy slams him down hard on all the points he is trying to present including any possibility Camp Half-Blood will fail declaring they will hold Manhatten.
*SureLetsGoWithThat:
**Percy outright says this to Zoe when told if he was showed the trail by the Ophiotaurus. In actuality, Percy already has memories of events and was more focused on rescuing Bianca and Bessie than the trail.
** PlayedForLaugh When asked how long [[spoiler: Percy and Nico had their new abilities (poison, ice and turning souls into ghosts respectively) both of them share looks and estimate about a month]] and Nico agrees to go with that.
*TantrumThrowing: Kronos does not take to the news that [[spoiler: Hyperion is killed by Percy all by himself with poison too well. While at the base awaiting to release the Drakon while he is actively cutting down support beams, flipping over tables and nearly killing his dracane bodyguards out of pure fury to what Percy, Nico, Thalia and the other demigods have been doing in defending Manhatten.]]
*ThatThingIsNotMyChild: [[spoiler: Apollo refuses to acknowledge Octavian as his descendent upon recalling a dream about him, Percy notes that ironically Octavian is quite proud of his heritage.]]
TheConfidant: [[SecretKeeper Poseidon.]] [[spoiler: Later this includes Amphitrite, Triton, Nico, Thalia and even Apollo.]] But for Percy the main person he confides to about the future, his emotional state and his garnering powers is Poseidon.
*TheGadfly: Percy's modus operandi. He opens his mouth to provoke reactions to play as a distraction or actively provoke his opponents. It is scarily effective especially against Kronos. When on the Princess Andromeda, Percy served as an essential distraction so that Charlie Beckendorf could safely set up the bombs while Percy actively annoyed everyone while still avoiding active combat with Kronos.
*ThePowerOfFamily: See also in TrueCompanions but Percy, Nico and Thalia embody this dynamic and their commitment towards each other is noted strongly and [[spoiler: even Prometheus doubts they can dissuade or convince Kronos to convince them onto their side.]]
*TrueCompanions: Percy, Nico and Thalia have become chaos gremlins. In their own words and have been actively working together and bonding as a result. It's so strong that even Prometheus realises that this companionship is more dangerous because they are unwilling to betray each other and will actively protect the other on top of their already insane power which makes them all individual OneManArmy
*UndyingLoyalty: Nico, Thalia and Percy have this towards each other. [[spoiler:Prometheus even mentions its this quality to each other that makes them incredibly dangerous and unwilling to betray the other for the Titan's side.]]
*VictoryByEndurance: [[spoiler: Poseidon is preparing for this in Atlantis knowing Oceanus will retreat once Kronos is defeated but also knows the worst of the damage that occurred on the palace and people when he had to help defeat Typhon. They are trying for that outcome but know that if push comes to shove Typhon and by extension Olympus take priority. Even after Typhon's defeat, Poseidon returns to defend the position there, knowing it will only be a matter of time before Oceanus gives up upon Kronos's defeat. ]]
*WeakButSkilled: Percy but only at the start of the story when he returns back to his twelve-year body and loses most of his endurance, stamina and power compared to his twenty-two-year-old self and his trusty sword Riptide. He is by no means he is not without his experience on how to wield a sword or even what his powers entail. It's through this we see that instead of just cutting Ares in the ankle, Percy instead stabs him in the stomach. He steadily grows to be StrongAndSkilled especially by around The Last Olympian.
*WhamEpisode:
**Chapter 13 has Percy get the Di Angelos out of the Lotus Hotel [[spoiler: and in the middle of the chapter after Nico falls asleep and wakes up startled and starts talking about the pit, Gaea and Bob. It's one of the first instances where another person has remembered the original timeline and only hints to more remembering.]]
**'''Chapter 39''': Has the situation go FromBadToWorse [[spoiler:with the poison from Kampê is worse than what Percy realised and Poseidon is fatally wounded from it with Apollo and Asclepius unable to heal the wound and unable to fully identify the poison beyond its origins from Tartarus. Throughout both Triton and Poseidon manage to talk through to Percy and Percy despite it all manages to power through his trauma and mental block to remove the poison unlocking his power that he's been supressing. The following chapter has Percy glass ball of mortality start to break similar to House of Hades and while it is mostly patched over, shards are gone and its held mostly by goodwill.]]
**'''Chapter 43:''' The gang find [[spoiler: Hazel in the underworld when handling the sword and as it turns out she remembers too. They manage to negotiate with Hades to let her go so that she can play a role in assisting the Romans with Mount Othrys.]]
**'''Chapter 57''' has the confrontation between Percy and Hyperion. [[spoiler: Percy's poison/venom abilities has been referenced at this point but his control over them has been limited to the venom in his mouth making some readers to assume Percy might have to bite someone to poison them. Instead Percy manages to summon a toxic hurricane with Kampê's poison (for reference Percy had only been drinking poisons and subsumming them if he was certain he could get cured, Kampê's is not one of them). This has a dramatic shift in Percy's terrifying power and his implied ascension.]]
*WhamLine: In '''Chapter 51''' Will asks a very important question [[spoiler: that puts new tension and context to Percy's poison powers and also how far ascending he has become since unlocking his poison abilities.]]
-->'''Will:''' [[spoiler: "Has your blood always been this colour?"]]

*CruelAndUnusualDeath: Hyperion certainly gets one in a shocking turn of events. When pondering on how to use his newfound poison powers Percy accidentally thinks of Kampê's poison and invokes it in his hurricane, causing Hyperion to melt away in agony and in pain until he is dust.
*CurbStompBattle: Percy vs Two Hundred Monsters was never even a contender. Percy wins. During the Last Olympian, we see Thalia and Nico also exhibit this ability and are able to defend their section of their bridges with minimal assistance beyond cover fire.
*CursedWithAwesome: Percy's poison abilities. Already a canon ability of his since House of Hades but one he has kept under lock and control since Annabeth's haunting comment that some things were not meant to control has him nearly commit suicide in Blood of Olympus over using them to save his life.
*CuttingTheKnot: Whenever there are situations that Percy can avoid a fight or situations he will take them. For instance, one example of this is Percy managing to convince Antaeus to turn his arena into a battle royale rather than Percy just fight him directly and instead have the monsters take themselves out, taking out hundreds of monsters in the process and reducing the numbers of death during the Battle of the Labyrinth. It also has the side effect of Antaeus sending Poseidon Father's Day cards.
*DangerousForbiddenTechnique: For Percy, he regards his poison abilities as this. It has deeply traumatised them to the extent he is willing to go down to Tartarus rather than use them. It takes some coaxing and persuasion considering the situation to get him to accept it.
*DeadpanSnarker: Percy has not lost this ability over the years of dealing with gods and monsters.

It rightfully freaks Malcolm and Clarisse out along with [[ScrewThisImOutOfHere the rest of the army Hyperion brought. ]] ]]
*DramaticIrony: Grover mentions that Poseidon won't like Percy sending him the head of Medusa never mind the fact Poseidon is telepathically demanding Percy to send it to him over the alternative which was Olympus.
*DrawAggro: While on the Princess Andromeda, Percy deliberately makes himself the target so Charlie Beckendorf has enough time to set up the bombs and casually murders some of the monsters and draws Kronos attention in the meantime. Even still Percy is still being mostly evasive and is only buying enough time for the explosion set up.
*DreamingOfTimesGoneBy: [[spoiler: Apollo mentions this shortly after being told the truth.]] When Percy asks Poseidon about it he casually admits to it and informs Percy the more time passes the more he remembers of the original timeline. It can also be assumed that Amphirite and Triton also experience this.
*FatalFlaw: Percy's loyalty to his friends and family however there is another argument to be made concerning Percy's recklessness which Triton noted in the original timeline after he discussed some of the events of Tartarus and how he ended there. Nico's grudges, Thalia's lust for power and Annabeth's hubris is also noted.
*FireForgedFriends: Clarisse and Percy develop this and it becomes apparent during the Battle of Manhatten where they fight side by side while Clarisse fights against the Drakon while Percy fights against the army.
*FlechetteStorm: Percy develops the ability to freeze water and manipulate ice over time. He notably uses this on the Williamsburg Bridge against Kronos and his army.
*ForegoneConclusion: There is no saving Luke, Percy realises once he sees the Fates cut his string again realising the true significance of their Fates' actions and this point is repeated in Percy's narration during the Last Olympian when Annabeth expresses a desire to save Luke. Similarly, Percy realises when it comes to prophecies concerning people and their deaths this is also the case. Such as Zoe and while it is luckily [[spoiler: averted with Bianca, that was only because she was not on the Quest. Her replacement Mary was not so lucky as she was crushed by Talos. ]]
*FreudianExcuseIsNoExcuse: While Percy ultimately understands Luke and his perspective his methods are far from the best and will do more harm than good.
*GenreSavvy: While it helps with the knowledge of time travel Percy has been attacked by monsters and demigods alike far too many times to not know their tricks at this point. Upon rediscovering [[spoiler: Apollo's lost sun chariot and Hermes' missing packages he notes the pool water will be good for the oncoming trap/ ambush they are about to fight. Lo and behold an ambush.]]
*GodzillaThreshold: [[spoiler: [[TheDreaded Kampê.]] Despite not even being recruited by Kronos she is one of the most terrifying and oldest monsters in the Pantheon and for good reason. Even Percy thinks of evading and escaping her rather than try to fight her but he iis at a loss at how to handle her without endangering more lives and calls to Poseidon for assistance. Something he rarely does unless it is incredibly life-threatening. Unlike his indirect divine interventions, the situation is so serious Poseidon himself actually outright shows up to help take care of her, since she is one of the few monsters older than time, whom Poseidon, Zeus and Hades fought against during the first Titanmanchy. ]]
*GuileHero: With all the knowledge he has accrued Percy is more than knowledgeable at using it to annoy the hell out of his enemies, to rile them up so they make mistakes and Percy using their flaws against them. With Antaeus for instance he uses his very concept of the arena to pit the monsters against each other leading into a twelve-hour-long Battle Royale and a lot fewer monsters to fight against during the Battle of the Labyrinth.
*HeroicBSOD: The impact of Tartarus had an incredibly detrimental effect on Percy but also his relationship with Annabeth as a whole. At the start of the story they had amicably broken up but the lingering trauma still haunts Percy and even his abilities.
*HoldTheLine: The battles in the Last Olympian during the Battle of Manhatten and the battle with Oceanus is essentially holding the line as long as possible. Thanks to the future foresight Poseidon is aware of [[MyDefenseNeedNotProtectMeForever Oceanus retreat upon Kronos defeat]] but even with the heads-up, it is not an easy task since the war of attrition has been ongoing for several years at that point and gradually reaching the palace.
*IDidWhatIHadToDo: Percy outright says as much to Poseidon went he recounted the past (future) that he did things that while Poseidon didn't like were necessary for his survival and as a whole.
*InternalReveal: Percy tells Poseidon very early on about the truth much to his horror of all the things he has experienced. Everything. Including what happened in Tartarus much to his father's horror of all the things he experienced in just a decade. [[spoiler: He later tells this to Amphrite and Triton]] and much later to [[spoiler: Apollo too after being unable explain how they knew the Romans to the God of Truth. Apollo especially doesn't take it too well upon being told half of his children were to die in the next few years.]]
*LockedOutOfTheLoop: Everyone outside the [[spoiler: time travellers, the SeaFam (Poseidon, Amphrite, Triton) and later Apollo]] have no clue that there was even an original timeline.
*MakingASplash: Percy and most of the sea/ocean/river deities primary power consists of this. Just before the Battle of Manhatten Percy has managed to upgrade it to [[IceMagicIsWater ice. ]]
*NearVillainVictory: An unintentional one without Kronos even knowing about it or being involved [[spoiler: due to Kampê's scimitars nearly fatally poisoning Poseidon and causing a crisis]]. Percy even says as much.
-->'''Percy:''' "It would have been a major victory for Gramps without even trying. [[spoiler: Kampê wasn't even on his recruitment list.]]"

!!Tropes for this series include:

*AcquiredPoisonImmunity: After finally acknowledging [[spoiler: and accepting his poison and venom powers. Percy has developed the ability to be completely immune to all kinds of poisons, even poisons which nearly killed other gods and titans.]]
*AdaptationalBadass: It helps with Percy's knowledge that allows Percy to circumvent certain events but also knowing his own abilities to take care of things more easily and in a quicker time. Percy in the original timeline was no slouch and unlike most other time travel fics, Percy was twenty two years old and relaxing in the ocean, recovering from his trauma when he woke up back in time. [[spoiler: This is particularly noticeable during the Battle Of Manhatten when upon facing Kronos without the Curse of Achilles and Kronos mistakes Percy as haven taking it. He hadn't. Or even with defeating Hyperion on his own with an Acid Hurricane.]]
*AdaptationalEarlyAppearance: Courtesy of the changes that Percy and [[spoiler: later Nico and Thalia make.]] Immediately Poseidon shows up incredibly early on as a key ally and confidant to Percy and later Amphrite is informed and replaces the nereid Percy talks to in St Louis and Santa Monica.
*AnIcePerson: By the time of the Battle of Manhatten. Percy is using ice shards to combat against Kronos' forces. [[spoiler: That's nothing compared to Nico's who develops this power offscreen at his own station enough to freeze Spring Street though there were hints previously with his incredibly cold temperature and abilities in the series. ]]
*BadassBoast: Right after the battle with Ares. Ares announces that Percy has made a powerful enemy. Percy retorts so has Ares.
--> ''''Ares:''' "You have made an enemy, godling."
-->'''Percy:''' "So have you."
*BadPowersGoodPeople: This is discussed with [[spoiler: Triton and Percy over Percy's poison abilities as they discuss how does certain powers don't make the person, even citing Nico, Hades and Zeus as examples. It still takes Percy]] some work to accept it for himself.
*BeAsUnhelpfulAsPossible: Percy's default strategy with Kronos is to be the most annoying pest imaginable, by taking out targets, stealing supplies, blowing up monsters and the like. It seems to be working.
*BeyondTheImpossible: A trait of Percy which both Triton and Poseidon note as his growing potential, especially regarding his control of poison but his general survival overall.
*BigDamnHeroes:
**Poseidon is quite fond of doing this. [[spoiler: He shows up directly to face against Kampê when Percy asked for assistance]]
**[[spoiler: Then together with Hades, they coordinate an attack to defeat Typhon once Poseidon had enough time away from Oceanus to orchestrate it. Hades also turns up along with the other Olympians to aid with the Battle of Manhatten.]]
*BrutalHonesty: When Percy is not actively hiding things he has no problem being as blunt and honest as possible. When Apollo swears he lays it thick to him what happened and Percy has no problem admitting he near slammed the door on him when he was mortal or any of the stuff he did there.
*BrokenAce: Percy has issues which while he mostly keeps hidden thanks to his wit. However it is clear he still has a bunch of issues. At the start of the story he has amicably broken up with Annabeth over their mutual codependency from Tartarus and the sheer trauma they endured. Percy can barely even speak the name of Tartarus or even think of using his other abilities for a long time.
*CatharticCrying: Percy manages to confront Poseidon very early in the story before and after his claiming at Camp Half Blood, unsure whether or not to confess the truth to him or not. After promising to not say anything Percy manages to breaks down and gets a surprising hug and reassurances from Poseidon who despite not remembering believes wholeheartedly in Percy.
