During the Last Olympian, we see Thalia and Nico also exhibit this ability and are able to defend their section of their bridges with minimal assistance beyond cover fire from archers from the Hunters and Apollo's cabin.
* CursedWithAwesome: Percy's poison abilities. Already a canon ability of his since House of Hades but one he has kept under lock and control since Annabeth's haunting comment that some things were not meant to control has him nearly commit suicide in Blood of Olympus over using them to save his life.

Percy is in the middle of the ocean looking at the sky, age twenty-two, recalling his life when he falls asleep and wakes up in his dormitory at Yancy a decade in the past with no clue how it occurred or even if he could go back. But considering Percy's last thoughts were to SetRightWhatWasOnceWrong, he quickly takes this approach to the new timeline.

* NonAnswer: Chiron is quite fond of giving them, especially to Percy who is [[BlatentLies "unaware"]] of any aspects of the Greek World much to Percy's growing frustration who knows full well what these things are since he lived through the answers to his basic questions. Even ones that state that Percy is a child of a God not even necessarily which God it may be.

* ProngsOfPoseidon: In addition the actual trident Poseidon wields. Percy managed to acquire his own named Current which can shrink to a necklace and thanks to the hilt containing sea water, he can manipulate it. Riptide is still Percy's primary weapon but Current does help if the situation if particularly dicey.

* BreatherEpisode: ''Chapter 62'', [[spoiler: After defeating Kronos, Percy is immediately caught by Poseidon and the demigods and gods have a talk. Unlike his indirect divine interventions, the situation is so serious Poseidon himself actually outright shows up to help take care of her, since she is one of the few monsters older than time, whom Poseidon, Zeus and Hades fought against during the first Titanmanchy. ]]

* ICanStillFight: Said word for word by Mark, a son of [[BloodKnight Ares]] even after he had just had his arm mangled by a giant. Funny enough Ares shows the same behaviour after [[spoiler: having returned from fighting with Typhon heavily injured, continuing to battle at Manhatten and even personally showing up as Mars to ambush Krios at Othrys when Percy mentioned the Titan's stronghold. ]]

* InternalReveal: Percy tells Poseidon very early on about the truth much to his horror of all the things he has experienced. ''Everything''. Including what happened in Tartarus much to his father's horror and of all the things he experienced in just a decade. [[spoiler: He later tells this to Amphitrite and Triton]] and much later to [[spoiler: Apollo too after being unable explain how they knew the Romans to the God of Truth. Apollo especially doesn't take it too well upon being told half of his children were to die in the next few years.]]

The following chapter has Percy glass ball of mortality start to break similar to House of Hades and while it is mostly patched over, shards are gone and its held mostly by goodwill.]]

Such as Zoe and while it is luckily [[spoiler: averted with Bianca, that was only because she was not on the Quest. Her replacement Mary was not so lucky as she was crushed by Talos. ]]

* HoldTheLine: The battles in the Last Olympian during the Battle of Manhatten and the battle with Oceanus is essentially holding the line as long as possible. Thanks to the future foresight Poseidon is aware of [[MyDefenseNeedNotProtectMeForever Oceanus retreat upon Kronos defeat]] but even with the heads-up, it is not an easy task since the war of attrition has been ongoing for several years at that point and gradually reaching the palace.

* InternalReveal: Percy tells Poseidon very early on about the truth much to his horror of all the things he has experienced. Everything. Including what happened in Tartarus much to his father's horror of all the things he experienced in just a decade. [[spoiler: He later tells this to Amphrite and Triton]] and much later to [[spoiler: Apollo too after being unable explain how they knew the Romans to the God of Truth. Apollo especially doesn't take it too well upon being told half of his children were to die in the next few years.]]
