* TheWatson: This series has a Watson ball so to speak going around, as pretty much any character can turn into this temporarily around Story!Loki (guy is weird, and very eager to exposit). But the role generally falls on Verity, Mini-Thunderstrike, or most recently Ultima-Spider-Man. When Sun-Wukong got the ball he rejected it with "Wait. Don't explain it. I don't care!"
* WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity: What Story!Loki fears could happen if she did what the [[spoiler:Protectors of the Web of Life and Destiny]] want from her. Namely [[spoiler:embracing that her powers are akin to rewriting destiny]], and so designate her as a replacement for [[spoiler:the Norns]]. Given Loki's tendency to insanity, and that [[spoiler:Marvel Norns]] were pretty unhinged her fear is understandable.

* YouOweMe: Story!Loki got her job by invoking the debt owned by Doom for Loki's help in Comicbook/{{Axis}}.

* TaughtByTelevision: Not exactly television but Story!Loki's skills and knowledge come from the combined memories of all their predecessors, ''and'' all stories ever told thanks to their godly domain. So for example, their fall back in case of social-ethical questions (as Loki generally had NoSocialSkills) is ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'' (explicitly chosen for its PeripheryDemographic appeal).

* ThinkUnsexyThoughts: Story!Loki tries and fails to do this while meeting fairy queen, Amora, so he resorts to cold water to keep his cool (while mentally kicking himself for letting this opportunity go).

* TheStoryteller: That's ''special agent'' storyteller for you! Also here is the description of an improvised story told to the Little Marvels (guess which part was requested by Cyclops!):

* MentorArchetype: Sheriff Strange ([[spoiler:in ethics]]) and [[spoiler:Sun Wukong (in staff fighting)]] to Story!Loki. One of them is wise and caring... the other is, well let's say he and Loki are great enablers of each other's bad behavior and hedonistic impulses.

* LoveGoddess: Well, something like that anyway, as [[spoiler:Metro!]]Loki, Goddess of Seduction and Intoxication is basically SexDrugsAndRockAndRoll personified, [[{{dissimile}} except she prefers jazz]]. Her mere presence makes people [[{{Glamour}} adore her]] and shower her with gifts, [[ThePornomancer sex]] and {{intoxication ensue|s}}.

* FakeMemories: Doom's memory manipulation towers make the people of Battleworld think that the world is as always was. Occasionally the cover-up story generated to reconcile the characters' reality with this lie became very complex in the process. [[spoiler:For example the Thors and related characters who weren't actively Thoring (616!Odinson, Don Blake of Paradise City) when the Incursion hit their world got a tale about a rogue domain called Lemuria, and them being dishonorably discharged for denying orders to [[WouldBeRudeToSayGenocide purge]] it.]]

* ElementalPowers: Some Lokis have elemental powers, [[spoiler:Nu!]]Loki got some [[CastingAShadow darkness]] ones, but the best example is [[spoiler:Weird-]]Loki, who got both [[AnIcePerson ice]] and [[PlayingWithFire fire]] (which they, for example, use to test if someone is human or not... because they and their friends are kinda jerks).

* ComesGreatResponsibility: Referenced when Sheriff Strange question why he should trust Story!Loki not to become TheStarscream. Well, yes, Loki loves power very much... but being the God of the (Battle)world comes with great responsibility too, which they would rather ''not'' have. Also discussed later thanks to various Spider-related-people, which is somewhat unhelpful when someone fears the corrupting side of great power.

* ChekhovsGunman: Mr. [[spoiler:Nancy, aka Anansi]], who appears mostly just to talk a bit and give directions in [[spoiler:chapter #7]], but returns in [[spoiler: chapter ''#34'']] to be much more plot relevant. Later chapters revealed that all members of the OmniscientCouncilOfVagueness except [[spoiler:Karn]] appeared before the reveal about the council, [[spoiler:the Bride of Nine Spiders]] guided Loki to Sun-Wukong, and [[spoiler:Madam Webb]] intervened to stop them from bugging the Young Ultimates.
